Picking tonight would ensure a large number of people gathered around TV sets. At least people who have any interest in sporting events. The way Boston is going, tonight might be the last night of the World Series as well.

It would be tough for them to plan something for the baseball game - a week ago no one knew where it would be played and two weeks ago it was even more unclear where the series would be played.

That's not to say they don't have some sort of elaborate "mobile attack" plan in place - but their history seems to indicate they are more into long-term planning and surveillance.

The last time the Red Sox won was in 1918 and I think the flu epidemic started during the series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
