Actually, my humble opinion is to vote NO on all amendments except #6. These things do NOT belong in a State constitution. They should be simple pieces of legislation, not constitutional amendments. The constitution is supposed to be the document that determines how we will govern ourselves. What does a bullet train or parental notification or supervising the medical profession have to do with that?

Crud. I know I'm posting too late. But everyone should definitely vote to retain the two Florida Supreme Court Justices, Cantero & Bell. They have already made a big, conservative impact, when combining their vote with Wells & they can scrounge a 4th vote.

As for DCA judges, I recommend just voting no on all of them. They are always retained at about the 70% level, and I think it's good to show them that they should be at least a little bit accountable to the public. And they've undoubtedly written some opinions you wouldn't agree with.

Actually I would suggest voting no on Amendment 3. I have already talked to a number of Medical Malpractice lawyers and they just say they will now file two more cases to make up for the reduction in revenues.

Amendment 3 gives a "value" to you life which an insurance company can set a calculated price upon.

I am not a Medical Malpractice Lawyer but it is very clear this amendment screams unintended consequences.

True, but conservatives should be able to decide for themselves!!

If nothing else, look at the proponents and opponents - that's a big clue.

I have my list ready to go - the cc guide gives a short rundown of some of the candidates in FL districts - enjoy!

I don't think lawyers will be able to make up the revenue. This ammendment will favor settlements.

Actually I would suggest voting no on Amendment 3.

Too late! Already voted for it.

I have already talked to a number of Medical Malpractice lawyers and they just say they will now file two more cases to make up for the reduction in revenues.

At least they'll have to work harder for their money.

Amendment 3 gives a "value" to you life which an insurance company can set a calculated price upon.

They already do that, and have been for over 100 years.

I am not a Medical Malpractice Lawyer but it is very clear this amendment screams unintended consequences.

You're most likely right. It's a risk I'm willing to take.

Yes, but that was "already posted" 10 days AFTER this thread. So what's your point?

All amendments will pass, except 4, which is too close to call.
