How many times is she going to mention her so-called "New GI Bill"? It is like Kerry saying "I have a plan."

That was ironic...she said "mental health is important" and those people cheered (given your comments before about them I found that rather amusing).

Thank you for asking politely. There was someone on another thread who decided to hurl insults in the SC debate thread.

Good question, I'm not sure. Unless he plans a run for a Congressional seat or a lower statewide office, there isn't anything left for him to run for in GA (for at least another 6 years), so I'd hope the Administration would find something for him (assuming he wants to take the pay cut !). ;-)

Is it just me, or does it look like there's about 15 people in the entire auditorium, not counting those on the stage ?

That's what it looked like to me, too. 90% of the seats are empty.

Its not even a race much less a close one.
I'm all about GA politics and I'm not watching.
Frontline Bush/Kerry is on.
Do you know why Majette gave up her Congress seat?

It's just that the general is so anti-climactic, all the excitement was in the primary. Alas, we're seeing a Libertarian gnat, a 'Rat nitwit with a pleasing smile, and a rich RINO who bought the nomination. GA frankly deserves better, and obviously judging from the turnout, they have better things to do, like shining their hubcaps or plucking their nose hairs one by one.

What a crowd for Majette. They probably don't even know who she is.

Apparently Majette may have been mildly worried that she might lose in a rematch to the extra-chromosomer Cynthia "This is Bat Country !" McKinney, so she chose to take a kamikaze run for the Senate. The GA 'Rats were stupid to let her do it, but que sera sera...

You know it's a liberal crowd when the women have more body hair than the men.

I aaume she was dead certain to lose her Congressional seat or she is the dumbest woman alive. The GA 'Rats couldn't get anyone to run for Zell's seat(the crazy State legislator lady from Gwinnett doesn't count) cause it was a certain loser for them.

That's a really good question. As I see it, one of two things happened:

1) Majette knew she couldn't win the Rat primary without the Republican crossover help she got in 2002. Rather than lose in the primary to McKinney, she went this route to increase her statewide name recognition, for future political efforts.

2) Majette's ego got the best of her, and she decided to go for all the marbles.

Either way, she doesn't have a snowball's chance in Hades.

Wow, Majette is a horrible debator. Her goofs and stammers make Dubya look like Sir John Gielgud.

And yet she had a House seat for LIFE, if she wasn't so stupid to think Jewish money would support her now that she was no longer opposing vicious anti-Semite McKinney. What an idiot. Now she is out of a job, and McKinney is back is hers. Darwin Award nominee of the year.

Majette is an idiot. I'm serious. Watch her for a while and read some of her quotes, and you'll come to the conclusion that she has just enough brain in her head to be a dangerously opinionated looney.

Isakson was impressive. His 3rd time running for the Senate will be the charm. The big factor for Isakson was that he was able to woo enough social conservatives to vote for him in the GOP primary. His GOP primary theme of him being a "GA Republican before it was cool to be one" worked.
