That's just sick...........far worse than anything the former panderer in chief, BJ Clinton, ever said.

He said it. Krauthhammer mentioned it yesterday and said it was despicable.

I heard it this afternoon as well. Apparently Kerry will have magical powers if he gets elected.

This from Drudge
Edwards: 'We will stop juvenile diabetes, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and other debilitating diseases... When John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going get up out of that wheelchair and walk again.' Edwards made the unprecedented campaign promises during 30-minute speech at Newton High School gym in Newton, Iowa...

We've got, that loosing feeling, wooowoo, loosing feeling...
New DNC song...
Has a person who was a minister I think this guy is really sleazy, beyond all definition. To promise something that is beyond all human control to deliver and to falsely raise the hopes of those suffering paralysis is evil.
If Kerry had any character, which he doesn't, but if he did he would remove Edwards from the ticket. He could appoint Howard Dean, they are closer politically anyway..

Yup. Edwards said the same thing (virtually) yesterday and again today. Disgraceful to offer that kind of false hope to people.

Greasy trial lawyer. I'm throwing a flag for Illegal Procedure. Unnecessary use of a modifier. 15 yards and loss of down.

No different than the rest of Kedwards' sleazy campaign -- exploiting human misery for votes. Whether it's the death of soldiers in Iraq (used as a statistic to demonstrate administration "incompetence"), the hopelessness of life in the ghetto (used to stoke fear in order to keep its inhabitants safely on the "plantation"), or the mass murder that abortion objectively represents (used to promise gullible women the "constitutional right" of "reproductive choice"), the general theme is always the same.
The only question remains: are the American electorate actually stupid enough to be seduced into electing these traitorous nitwits? Or, for that matter, are they stupid enough to make the election close enough to be stolen by the votes of convicts, the dead, noncitizens, and Democrats voting multiple times? God help the country if they are.

He said "We will stop juvenile diabetes, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and other debilitating diseases." What`s he going to do, sue the diseases? I mean this is akin to a politician claiming "If you vote for me I will cure cancer" My God, is there no limit to where these two will go for a vote? Kerry even claiming at the last debate while looking in the camera "I will not raise taxes"..A liberal democrat saying he will not raise taxes? That`s about as believable as Michael Jackson saying he can be trusted as a cub scout leader.

If the American people don't see through this, we are in worse trouble than I thought.
Maybe Edwards was trying to make up for his honesty during the debates when he repeatedly stressed, "I don't have a long resume".
