SWIFT BOATERS CHALLENGE: The 254 men who make up the group Swift Boat Veterans For Truth have issued a challenge to Kerry and his supporters. They have told him that if he
believes their allegations are false to sue them and take them to court. The Kerry campaign and liberal media have stated that the allegations made by the group are "unsubstantiated lies and that all their allegations have been debunked." If that is true then Kerry has a great case for a lawsuit charging them with libel and slander. You would also think that Kerry would want to disprove the allegations.
Kerry knows that if he does sue them that as part of discovery he would be required to release all his records, which would prove their allegations. Truth is always the best defense. Kerry just keeps on refusing to release all his records and allowing the liberal media to cover for him....
Now comes the interesting part. Kerry did not receive his actual Honorable Discharge until March 12, 2001. 23 years after he should have received it. Why the delay? Who authorized the 2001 discharge? Where are his records showing that he attended the required training and active duty days? Guess what folks? THESE RECORDS ARE PART OF THE RECORDS KERRY REFUSES TO RELEASE.
Why does Kerry refuse to release the records relating to the above and why does his Web Page show the gap in his service? Maybe it's because that during this time he was still a member of the Navy Reserve he:
1--Helped form the VVAW and served on it's Executive Board with known Communist sympathizers.
2--Attended a VVAW meeting where a plot to assassinate pro-war American Senators was discussed.
3--Lied under oath about atrocities ...

Yes he was discharged from Active to the Reserves effective with the 1970 dd214..... He then was released from the Reserves in 1978.....
In box 5 of Kerry's dd214 it states his rank as E5. This is not an officer rank. It is an enlisted rank. I wonder why his rank of discharge was not 1st or 2nd Lt. which should have been his rank at that time. Is it possible that for some reason he was demoted to an enlisted rank of E5 which would have been the equivelent of Pvt. to an officer in a disciplenary action? I could be wrong about this but it is puzzling why he would be an E5. That is the rank that men are given when the are in training for Officer School. I know because I was in OCS during the Viet Nam War.

The 1978 release is from inactive reserves ... there are 8 years in between .. during which time Kerry held a service oblgation that is not accounted for.
There should ... SHOULD be another 214 discharging his service obligation - sometime between 1970 and 1978.

I one of my duties, both aboard ship and ashore, was command administrative and legal officer - in addition to my primary duties - so I'm nosy/curious about this stuff.
Was there one? I've never seen it either.....

Best case scenario, the weekend before the election, Kerry's dishonorable discharge and general court martial records from 1974 or thereabouts are leaked.
I know that Bob Dornan claims to have footage of Kerry looking on and smiling while someone burns a US Flag, while Sean Hannity says he has the Super 8 of Kerry setting a Vietnamese village alight. So where are they?
Yeah, I'd also like to see Sean Hannity's footage of Kerry burning the Vietnamese village, and Bob Dornan's shots of Kerry smiling while a VVAW type burns the American flag. So, where are they? I'm not holding my breath.
Which Burkett are you referring to? BG Burkett would never destroy and records. BG Burkette has exposed fake vets, and; he has sent many to jail. He has also saved the taxpayers many dollars in VA disability awards based on vets with phoney war records.
