wow. i must have seen a different segment than you did... it wasn't so ugly or threatening in the context it was given, in my opinion...

thanks for the civility of your reply, but i do believe the majority here are making a mountain out of a mole hill because they want to hear it a certain way.

chad has been quoted as saying, "they better hope we are not elected" and "they better hope we don't win" ...

i heard the latter in reference to an fec appeal... and i may be in the lonely minority, but majority jack bootedness is never a good place to be.

don't get me wrong, there is plenty to be disgusted about the kerry campaign without making stuff up.

I'm not making anything up. This was a threat. An FEC appeal? You've got to be kidding. The FEC was never mentioned until AFTER Clanton made his threat.

My view of Clanton's comments is shared by everyone, except the Kerry campaign and, apparently, you. Have a look at today's lead editorial from the Wall Street Journal:

I'm told the editorial is for subscribers only. Here's an excerpt:

"More ominously, Kerry adviser Chad Clanton told Fox News yesterday that "I think they (Sinclair) are going to regret doing this, and they better hope we don't win." Perhaps Mr. Clanton is auditioning for the H.R. Haldeman seat in the Nixon, er, Kerry White House."
