Author's Note: What you are about to read is the writer’s view regarding the state of the 2004 presidential elections. These views will at times seem harsh to some, and to others, possibly alarmist. Nevertheless, it is an opinion that is weighted by the facts as they present themselves. Opinions cease being opinion when events show them to be fact.

Two items, people.

1) Are we all aware that in the Bush volunteer program they will pay your travel costs to a state where you are needed? Air, hotel and car. They say you share a car with 2-3 other arriving volunteers. They will book everything. I'm a little curious that they say you may share a hotel room. That's to save them money. I suspect you can just pay for a 2nd room and split that cost with the other volunteer if you want privacy.

2) Does anyone know if the Dems have a similar 72 hr volunteer program?

I thought it was the RNC that is doing the 72 hour program. I'm going to Vegas this weekend to work for Bush and the RNC is paying for it.

"In St. Paul, Minnesota, a man who was pulled over by
police was found to have some 300 voter registration
cards in the trunk of his car that had been filled
out, but never submitted."

The implication here is that these are fraudulent regs.

We also need to consider the possibility that they are
legit, but the signers indicated an intention to vote
for Bush - if not in this case, then in others - and the
forms were being sandbagged.

Please contact everyone you know who might be a GOP
leaner, and ask them if they are registered, and if
they did so just recently, and if so, how.

If they were approached by get-out-the-vote activists,
and gave any indication of leaning GOP, there's some
chance that their reg was "lost", "spoiled", "invalid"
or just not submitted in time.

People need to take steps to ensure that they really
are registered.

It is. The question is . . . is it an advantage for us? Is the DNC doing the same thing?

In the y2k election, one of the Democrats' vote fixers was caught redhanded.

A police officer in Florida found a stolen vot-a-matic machine in Irv Slosberg's car. For a brief moment it seemed that the widespread problem of Democrat voter fraud was about to get much needed public attention.

But Theresa LaPore refused to prosecute, and the press buried the story, and the chance died.

We saw more voter fraud incidents crop up in 2002, a smaller scale true, but also an off year election, and again nothing much came of it.

Well, we will reap what we sowed, and their will again be large scale voter fraud in the Democrat controlled cities through out the nation.

Seeing as there is a great potential reward in such fraud -after all another thousand manufatured votes would have given the 2000 election to Gore - and very little risk - as we've seen with the lack of successful prosecution even when the miscreant is caught redhanded - it is hardly surprising that the Democrats continue to proceed down such an avenue.

And with the continued radicalization, and increasing contempt for the democratic process, of the left, one can expect a much greater number of Democrat party members willing to attempt to cheat the election system.

Make no mistake, this is not a *conspiracy*. The leaders of the Democrat party are aware that this goes on, and try to help the defrauders to the best of their ability, but they leave the actual criminal act, both in planning and execution, to those at the lowest level of responsibility.

It amazes me that this commentator can stand to live in NYC. He actually sees the truth and speaks out about it. An unforgivable sin in the Big Rotten Apple.

Exactly. There are no consequences for those who break the law in democrat land, therefore they are getting bolder and bolder. They could not pull this off without the help of the MSM who champion and join in the hijacking of the elections. (calling Florida early for Gore was no mistake.)

I'll pay for my own transportation. Can you give us some more details? I live in Texas and it's a given the Prez will carry our state. I am willing to work in Florida, Ohio or Pennsylvania.

Details please.

On the topic of calling Florida early for Gore in 2000.
Has anyone ever figured out how many votes that cost Bush our WEST, since they have a 3 hour time difference? Bush might have won Oregon, since he only lost it by what, 5,000 votes?
The story was that people were so dejected when they heard Gore had won Florida that they went home, left the line to vote, and just did not bother. Was there ever a figure associated to this? That early call, in my opinion, cost Bush the Popular vote.

Don't forget Gore "won" one of the southwestern states (Nevada? Arizona?) when 500 or so votes for him were "found" at the last minute.

And a telling stat I find - when the press called Florida for Gore, Bush was up by 6 points with 4% reporting in...

If I remember correctly that reporter was Sam Donaldson.

He was walking back and forth and screaming we won, we won. Not certain of time but think it was the 6 PM EST news
