We have to accept our Presidents as we find them, as witness Harry Truman and Calvin Coolidge. Neither was much as a public speaker. Both were good Presidents for their times.

..............
grr
as we find them?
We have one of he best PResidents this country has ever seen. Who else can you think of could have gotten us thru the past few years?
It's a lot different speaking to a crowd when you don't have the weight and the responsibility of the world - LITERALLY - on your shoulders. When you have had briefings of frightening things coming down the pike -when you have to weigh each and every word carefully so as not to tip off an enemy or give fodder to a foe that will use it indescriminately and thereby cause harm, when there are a hundred things you know about but can't yet say anything about 99 of them, when one wrong word or even right one may be taken wrong by a friend or foe overseas and cause harm,
I, for one, stand all amazed at how our President handles everything that is really almost more than any one person should ever have too. (And Laura Bush too. How I admire her. She knows so much more than we do and she watches her man go thru such trials and then has to watch him vilified by a lily livered swine who isn't fit to lick his shoes. What a gracious, strong lady she is.)
John Kerry - who doens't even have to take care of himself -can go out there and throw lies and accusations and insults around like - spitballs.
George W. Bush stands between us and total chaos. And he's the one man in this world that can do it. But we must earn it. We MUST get him elected.
Whew, There, 'got that off my chest ; )

this Internet is a great boon in being able to research like never before. We can find quotes, articles, - nothing stays hidden anymore.
In past elections, people just didn'thave the ability to go and find such stuff.
Al Gores Internet may do his buddy in ; )

This next debate is supposed to be about domestic issue. I hope President Bush has the wherewith all to link the WOT to domestic issues both directly and indirectly.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,
the WOT IS a domestic issue :)

That statement is perfectly consistent with Kerry's insistance that the War in Iraq is a distraction from the hunt for Osama. When you're trying to bring a criminal to justice, you use a man hunt. When you're trying to win a war, you send the army to anyplace the enemy might be making weapons or training his army or gathering strength. etc

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
EXcellent analysis! That should be a headline splashed round the world!

Thanks for your comments and others....I am also feeling so frightened tonight and concerned we might end up with Kerry in the White House as so much of the population are so stupidly uninformed. To think we all used to call Clinton "Slick" and even if he is, Kerry is "Slicker" and more frightening as he could get us all killed. I have a horrid week on the home front but just decided to drive miles and work downtown at the phone bank for Bush tomorrow night and every night I can. Rudy is just Great!

But John Kerry is proposing to fight terrorism. Only his plan is to do it BETTER.

You see, having a plan is one thing but having a BETTER plan? Why that's much...... well, better.
