Freepin Kerry on Route 1 for Pats game this weekend

Posted on 10/11/2004 3:57:20 PM PDT by guinnessboy

This Sunday October 10th, I pulled a solo freep on Route 1 Foxboro/Sharon line. I held a sign up high that says PATRIOTS ARE SUPERBOWL CHAMPS TWICE UNDER BUSH-'O4! I got some really positive response and some blasting with middle fingers, FU's, F Bush and the likes. Most cars were expressionless as they read and processed my sign. Overall I thought it was a positive experience, the owner of the small package store across from Bickfords enthusiastically let me stand on his intersection as he was a fellow Bush supporter. I will pull more antics as we get closer.

I'm hoping to garner some Romney votes and use psychology on MA voters. When they pull the lever they will think Patriots and vote for GW. If the sox win, look out, I'm all over that one!!!!!!!!!!

ATTA BOY! is right!

"I will pull more antics as we get closer."

I had to laugh out loud reading that line. That's the spirit!

This is election is a strange one. In 2000 you couldn't get a BC sign or sticker in the Merrimack Valley, I finally got one from Big Guy and Rusty99 at a FReep.

I don't think that our fellow Massholes are going to jump and vote Republican, but I have seen more BC04 stuff on cars with Mass Plates, makes me think of the Reagan landslide, carried Mass.

You're brave. Good for you. I live in Massachusetts, and I don't even have the guts to put my Bush/Cheney bumper sticker on my car. I don't feel like having my car keyed or tires flattened.

A lot of RATS are violent.

Good luck on your next FReep!

LB, Wrentham, the town I live in has three Bush Cheney lawn signs on route 1A undisturbed to this day, I just have my bumper stickers, the lawn signs are unrelated to me other than fellow ambiguous supporters.

Jenya, I've been seeing tons of Pro Bush bumper stickers out on the roads around here. Funny thing is right after my freep I did have a flat tire, I thought somebody let the air out, but I ran over a nail, drats..........problem fixed in the same day though.

Braver than I am, as well. I lived in Norfolk (within earshot of the stadium) for 20 years, and I learned to avoid Route 1 on Patriots game days like the plague...

Jenya..you have a Republican Governor in Massachusetts, you are not the only one in Massachusetts who supports President Bush, do not let the Union Thugs of Massachusetts scare you.

Wel as a NY Jet fan, I question your choice of teams, but not your intent. But as Kerry would say if NE won under his administration...

That Tom Belichek can really throw the ball
