Has the Hillary Insurgency Begun? (vanity)
10/11/04

Posted on 10/11/2004 1:49:08 PM PDT by pabianice

It hasn't escaped the notice of many that in the past two weeks, the MSM has dropped five bombs on Kerry and fired upon him several other times. The latest two bombs are the NY Fishwrap's long interview with Kerry, in which he is quoted as labeling terrorism a "nuisance," and the just-posted copy of one of Kerry's off-shore, tax-avoiding, anti-American investments. Sniper fire continues, with one journal revealing that even MA voters give Kerry only half the support they gave Al Gore, "the first android candidate for president," to quote one writer.

Call me cynical, but do we detect a whif of Hillary's magic? How many other bombs will fall on Kerry and shots whiz past in the next several weeks? When will Kerry's original 1972 Navy discharge (probably "under other than honorable conditions") be fed to Drudge? When will Theresa's tax records suddenly appear on the Internet?

So much paper, so little time. I'm sure other Freeprs have been keeping track of the MSM's strange new honesty. Links to articles?

Doesn't seem to be hurting him. If they wanted to, they could drive Kerry's negatives into the 30s easily . . . just by reporting the truth.

I wouldn't call it a strange new honesty. More like a " Kerry is a loser, let's distance ourselves from him move."

Yup, they know he's toast. Especially after GWB's performance in the 2nd debate.

Your point is a real "Could Be". The bombs were tossed while Lurch was "even" or in the "lead". Enough to scare Hitlary, and she is just vicious enough and underhanded enough to have done it.

ROLTFLMAO "Kerry only half the support they gave Al Gore, "the first android candidate for president," to quote one writer." (Easy leap to see who the second (half?) android is...but will the real DATA please stand up - aw that's bad, DATA was more human than these two.

BTW, listened to Cavuto, he had a couple of A-Rabs on there - pro Kerry anti Bush. Found out ZOGBY is an A-RAB. Perhaps Hitlary commissions his polls?

we have yet to see, or perhaps are beginning to see, the numerous negative kerry stories that various MSM organs have completed and "in the can". if they compress them into the last month of the campaign, it would be pretty effective.

I must admit that I agreed ,wholeheartedly with Rush, that the Clintons would torpedo Kerry. I'm not so sure anymore.
All of the Clinton lackeys really seem to be hell bent on seeing Kerry win. Could it be that everyone who thought they had Hildebeast all figured out was wrong?

Don't get me wrong I pray that they have a whole lot of surprises for Kerry ,up their sleeves.

Don't confuse the Arab Zogby with the poll Zogby. Two different people, or so I understand.

If Arab Zogby isn't Poll Zogby, then who is Zogby of whom you speak? I am not talking in the telephone book listing sense.

.
I think this has been going on ever since Kerry was the confirmed candidate. Little jabs here and there in MSM. Things that would never have been reported if MSM was really behind Kerry. If I remember right, one of the first was a column by Maureen Dowd last June. Photos that make him look like a dork. Maybe even the fake Rathergate memo. Not an all out assault, but enough to weaken Kerry. Between the SwiftBoat Vets and Hillary, Kerry will be spinning.

Hillary has lots of ammunition, so if his numbers start rising, more will drop. And, of course, he has Bubba and Bubba's goons as advisers. Gonna be an interesting month.

They're brothers, James and John. One is a pollster, the other some think-tank guy, I think.

"Photos that make him look like a dork."

This would mean photos in which he's appeared, right?

If I were to put myself in the Clinton's slick, crooked shoes, I'd do what I have always done. Saying, "I am with you; take my hand" (that way I can stab you in the back with the other hand without anyone seeing or hearing differently.

If the Clintons are stabbing Kerry, they must do it surreptitiously; without any heavy hand. Kerry is Kennedy's boy and he controls a large part of the D'RAT party.

Remember, Clinton went to MA after his election to kiss Kennedy's ring (honorary PHD). Later we heard -0- from Kennedy when Clinton was being impeached. Only after the Patriot II missile contract returned from Schwartz's LORAL Corp to Raytheon (and Raytheon canceled the move to AZ) did Kennedy open his mouth to help Clinton.

Time will tell. There will be barbs and inuendos to decipher, nothing overt. Hillary is out in 2008 if Kerry wins and a lot can happen in 8 years. She needs to move NOW with a close Kerry defeat to show she can win.

I think you may not completely understand Hillary. For Hillary it’s about power and money, the presidency only being a means to those ends. In America for better or worse looks count in a run for national office, Hillary has never been good looking and another four years are not going to help. Put that together with Hillary’s high negatives and the fact of running as a woman she may not believe she has a real chance in ’08.

So, what is her game? Keep the race close and she has options. If she thinks Kerry is going to win, she will put her all of her assets behind him in the last several days of the race. That way, with the help of the MSM, she will claim that she pushed Kerry over the top. Kerry will be beholding to her and she will be the power behind the throne. If she believes Bush will win she will withhold her support of Kerry but not try to damage him. She becomes the head of the democrat party, and either the nominee or the kingmaker in ’08. If its to close to call I believe she will do nothing because barring some unforeseen event like 9/11, the president either Bush or Kerry will likely have a very weak term which leaves Hillary with lots of options to grow her power during the term.

OK they are brothers, therefor A-RAB ZOGBYs and close enough to being pundit or pollster ZOGBYs. It'll fly with me. Sort of like BUSH saying 75% of Al-Quaeda was wiped out. I (we) knew he meant the original Al-Quaeda leadership. So, like BUSH we get more exact. Hopefully we will resolve this amicably, unlike democraps.

Then we can ask Neil about or which whom he spoke or meant...or...errr

I think Rathergate was of Rathers own making, a stretch to get a conspiracy between the B'ch and Rat'r. It just shifted the equation
