We may be about to experience an election unlike any we've seen in a while. The Florida recount in 2000 raised passions and blood pressure and featured some demonstrations on both sides, but there was no violence. This year, lots of groups are jostling with each other to monitor the elections in battleground states. For its part, the AFL-CIO has promised to dispatch thousands of election monitors to battleground states to watch for any hint of trouble at polling places. From the initial reports, they may be the ones for have to be watched as potential troublemakers.

It's great exposure for this story, but it's also a pity the WSJ apparently did not put this essay in their print edition.
Bring it on....Let's rock!....

One Precinct homeowner reported a fire of unknown origin that appeared to have been deliberately set burned her Bush Campaign sign in her yard. she/he has asked that I never revel her identity or use her/his name.
local supporters tell me scores of other campaign signs have been stolen, destroyed or vandalized in the past couple of weeks, most of them along major highways like the one we put up with permission on the property on busy Hwy. A Bush supporter could not stand to see the sign vandalized so at his own expense he bought paint and fixed it up. That 4x8 sign was stolen once replaced than was vandalized X's 2 and is now missing X's 2.
More than a dozen signs disappeared night before last and 10's of dozensof signs have been reported missing around the County. I think we may be looking at a concerted effort here as I first saw a post on FreeRepublic that stated nationwide Bush signs are being burned vandalized and stolen at a rate unheard of. I DO NOT KNOW WHO IS DOING THIS BUT I DID REPORT IT TO THE PD THE FIRST TIME I HAD A PROBLEM.
Please keep an eye on the ones that are left. And be careful. We are a Union Longshoreman/OCAW area
I think GWBs re-election will redefine the landslide. Either way, we did'nt let Gore steal 2000 and we sure as hell won't let Kerry do it now. How much higher are the stakes now than in 2000?

The RAT army will be wearing brown shirts? Now that's innovative. ??
the goos got away with it in part thanks to judicial watch's representation of the Adams

I have never seen such a rancorous, outright violent election cycle in my life- let's hope it ends well.
.
My plan is to sit on my front deck all nite, dressed in black, with my big (biting) dog on a long leash, if they touch my sign. They WON'T come back for my backup sign, that is for sure!
I hope the same, but I don't expect the Left to ever play nice again. They know their end is coming, and some are nuts enough to do damn near anything on the way out. I'm keeping my powder dry.
It's certainly coming down to their end or our's.
Sooner the better.
