Braves Still Alive
Atlanta Braves Official Site ^ | 10-10-2004 | SALChamps03

The Atlanta Braves held off the Astros in Game 4 of the NLDS by a score of 6-5. The big plays were a three run homer by Adam Laroche, an inning-ending 4-1 put out by Marcus Giles and John Smoltz, A go-ahead RBI single by J.D. Drew, and a game-ending 6-3 double play started by Rafael Furcal, who delayed his 21-day sentence for DUI by another day. Hopefully, this Game 5 will end better than last year's loss to the Cubs, after which I had to endure an eight-block walk back to my van while listening to Cubs fans scream and shout through the streets of Atlanta. Go Braves!

I have as much respect for her as I do for a stool sample.

That should be your tagline.

No no, I wasn't trying to correct you. I was merely grumbling again about my team having lost.

Sorry for the confusion.

I have been a die-hard Braves fan since my youth, why? - I don't know, maybe because I could get their games on cable early in life. When your 12 you could care less about Ted Turner, AOL or Time Warner, however as an impressionable kid, I love Baseball. Now that I am grown, I still could care less about Ted Turner, AOL/Time Warner but love the game of Baseball

Let's lay politics aside from Baseabll - Man created sports but God created Baseball!

I will always root for the Braves, even when they blow it in "The Big Game", I also call this choke syndrome incorporated or "CSI" because it always seems they have been robbed. However, once the investigation is concluded, they seem to have robbed themselves, that's Baseball.

I live in Florida and will remain a Braves fan, heck I even coach a Spring Little League team and got my team choice, of course it's the Braves. Funny how all the other coaches didn't even put up a fight to get that team - LOL

Good luck to your team in the NLCS. We blew it again.
