I was interviewed by Brazilian TV AND a copy writer for THE NEW YORK POST friday, working the streets on lunch break in Hoboken, NJ. Overwhelming majority of positive responses, especially among married women with children and yuppie macho white males. Remember, take your yard sign wherever you go!
A lot of the Brazilians in the US really like Bush--I think primarily because many of them are evangelical Christians.
Am I to infer from this post that you are carrying your Bush-Cheney sign with you during your daily business rounds?
If so, you are doing even more than I am with my ever-changing collection of Bush-Cheney lapel pins and Bush buttons pinned on my purse. I wear the B-C t shirt on week ends.
I get lots of comments(always positve) -- but not nearly as many as I would carrying a YARD SIGN.

4:30 am. yard sign into rear window pickup truck. illuminated by small flashlight.
12noon, off duty, out comes folded yard sign from briefcase, unto streets of Hoboken, clipped to shorts, etc
4;30 return to trains, sign in briefcase till off duty
7pm yard sign to rear window of pickup truck, illuminated for ride home on I 78 (hoping for traffic jam)
