Including Sgt. Peter Damon, who lost his arms in the war in Iraq. You remember him, right? You put him in F911. Surely you remember him
you said he was being left behind. The problem is that in our film, he finally has an opportunity to tell the world the truth, something you have little interest in. Sgt. Damon is angry with you, Moore.
If they don't get it out soon, it'll be academic. And Lumpy Riefenstahl is apparently planning to have his hate-filled agitprop on TV the eve of Election Day.
The raves about the Mom who's son died...the recruiting techniques, etc, ... were most unremarkable. I can't believe it won the Palm D'Or award at Cannes. Not a good film. Certainly not a documentary. It reminded more of Moore's earlier POS....bad jokes.
Should it appear on TV, I don' think it would make a damn bit of difference.
Skip the theaters and go straight to DVD/VHS or Net download, maybe get some links and coverage on Newsmax or a few minutes on FoxNews and talk radio (like ProtestWarrior.com did), and you could at least get it out and into the hands of people. If the makers clamor too much to be in theaters like Moore, it will start to sound like whining and/or greed. Not everyone hits a homerun, or even a base hit, the first time around.
Why not do a net download for 3.99 with PayPal?
Me too. I finally relented and was completely under-whelmed. Amateurish in style, transparent intentions. Don't see what all the hub-bub was about.
We rented FarhenHYPE 9/11 from Block Buster and watched it just before Friday night's debates. POWERFUL!! Had to ask for it by name a couple times (even had to spell it out to the dumb clerk). They found it BEHIND the desk. Go figure. I think it's on Amazon, too.
Hooah.
