Oftentimes, their eyes glaze over. They don't care, don't want to worry, don't want to THINK!
I have to agree that they will get the government they deserve. Only thing is, it's not the government my family and I deserve, or you and your families. We've been ringing the alarm for a long, long time, and it all falls on deaf ears.
I totally agree with you, and I find it so frustrating to realize that there are so many who are so incapable of reaching reasonable conclusions. I honestly believe it is because they do not want to "think" (as you said), they do not want to be challenged. They want someone else to provide them with the simple answers and resent it when anyone expects more of them. To think that our country has so many of that type of person is very disheartening. The upshot? We carry their water and fight the battle.
