Moore, Network Plans Election Eve TV 'Fahrenheit' Showing
Michael Moore and his liberal backers are working on a deal to have his Bush-bashing conspiracy movie "Fahrenheit 9/11" piped into millions of households just days before the election.
Citing "TV sources," the Hollywood newspaper Variety said that In Demand, the largest pay-per-view distributor in the U.S., was planning to air "Fahrenheit" at 8 p.m. on election eve - just hours before the polls open all across America.

I would threaten to switch to DIRECTV or DISH (preferably DIRECTV as that's a Rupert Murdoch organization). I would push this HARD.
This is absolute crap they would put this on the air knowing all of the lies about this movie.
Deja mooooo - this scat's been posted: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1240476/posts
Charlie Ergen (CEO of DISH) is a Bush supporter. I agree that it's absolute crap, but I'm against stifling free speech.
I'm a Dish dealer and I like Charlie, but I think he is an old line southern yellow dog democrat.
He made pals with Pat Leahy and hired David Boies to represent Dish in front of the FCC and Justice Dept. when he was trying to acquire DirecTV.
Michael Powell and the boys turned him down for just those reasons...IMHO.
Guys, its pay per view, who do you think is going to watch it? liberals who already have their mind made up.
In a way, I am glad he is doing this. Moore is an absolute pig and about as anti-American as it gets. He should be deported to Cuba where he could make movies about Castro --- (chuckle). Cuba's First Amendment will protect him, right??? But it is good the American people see a great reflection of the LIES, THE SLANDER, THE LIBEL, AND THE TWISTED MINDS THAT NOW DOMINATE THE SOCIALIST DEMS. Maybe that part of America that supports this filth, will begin to understand that THEIR PARTY can't win an election without LYING, CHEATING, MISREPRESENTATION AND OTHER CRIMINAL ACTIVITY.
wow.. who cares... so the choir will watch it.. big deal.
Agree. It will not likely sway any voters by that point. Bush supporters won't watch it, Kerry supporters might and the few remaining undecided by that point don't really matter.
And with their $29.99 VCR running a 99¢ tape at slow speed so they can treasure it forever.
FOX News needs to air the footage from the REAL 9-11, showing all the death, destruction and anguish. And show it over and over, all the time MM is running his so-called movie...
EXCELLENT idea!
Moore was in Nashville on his "Slackers Tour". Said he felt TN was a swing state (I didn't know that).
The choir to which they are preaching doesn't watch football, well maybe the lesbians do.
And that's exactly it: For all Moore's prattle about wanting this to be the first movie to decide an election, all he really cares about is the cash. If he wanted to change minds with his propaganda, he'd let network TV broadcast it for free, he'd give the DVD (or at least VHS tapes) away at cost, and so forth. All he's doing is shaking down the DUmmies for their ganja money. It hasn't made any difference in the campaign thus farexcept to the extent that it drove Kerry further left than his handlers would have otherwise permitted, and thus probably cost him the election.
The purpose of this is simple: It's his last chance to make any money on this movie, as it will be irrelevant after the election.
I saw the movie at Walmart for 19.95 why pay more for moore. I would not pay him a cent.
The only serious complaint I have is that they still don't allocate enough bandwidth to the local stations. Looks like crap most times. (My other complaint is that their Pay per View movie lineup is pretty lousy, compared to DirecTV, but I hardly ever buy one of those movies anyway, so it's moot.)
Anyway, thank you, eddie.
Should be interesting to see what transpires on election eve, if either one of these two movies shows up in the program guide that night.
