Pardon me if this has been brought to everyone's attention. This is the first time I've seen this related to FFO.

Some exception to the supposed link between Marc Rich and Glencore...he was "excused" from the board of directors of that company some years ago, and no longer has any official ties to them.

This was mentioned in the Fox Special on the Oil for Food Scandal a couple of weeks ago. I found it interesting that they also mentioned that Mark Rich helped the South African government violate Apartheid sanctions. I wondered what Nelson Mandela thought about his old pal Bubba pardoning the man who helped keep his fellow countrymen down.

Everything else in the article I've seen written already. I will do a word search of his name in the document and see what pops up.
BTW..not to fret.I know I spelled his name Mark when it is Marc. Sorry about that.

In what the report calls "an open secret,"
the Iraqi government demanded illicit surcharges of 25 cents to 30 cents on all barrels of oil bought, which buyers had to secretly pay before the deals were sealed.
They complied because the Iraqis were selling slightly below market prices. Skimming Scam

Oh yea, this was the guy Clinton pardoned on his last eve in office, in exchange for some cashola and the unfettered freedom to feel up the Ex-Mrs Rich's ample bosom.
I love going down memory lane...

It would appear, at least on the surface, that the international Left has been actively supporting the murderous regime of Saddam Hussein. Their rhetoric about human rights in Iraq was nothing more than a ruse so they could enrich themselves through the exploitation and murder of the Iraqi people.
Leftists really are the most insipid and degenerate swine imaginable.

Marc Rich?
Marc Rich of of the wifely Rich babe with the photogenic hooters seeking his pardon? You mean that there may be a connection between him, her, and the krinton free-for-all of the 90's?
Nah, there's lots of other "Rich" left-wing folks out there that are supporting Kerry.
