Corrections
Washington Post, October 8, 2004, Pg. 2
"An Oct. 7 article and the lead Page One headline incorrectly attributed a quotation to Charles A. Duelfer, the chief U.S. weapons inspector in Iraq. The statement, 'We were almost all wrong,' was made by Duelfer's predecessor, David Kay, at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing Jan. 28."
Oopsie! Isn't this the darndest thing? An enormously important report confirming that Saddam was scamming the world by selling oil to UN criminals as part of his reacquiring WMDs next year, and those silly geese at the Post just sort of got it all wrong and "misquoted" one of the most important people and points.
Sure hope the 7th graders in the Post's mimeograph room can keep this from happening again, just 3 1/2 weeks before the election...

Words fail me.
The MSM are SO desperate! First CBS..ABC..and this is journalism at its ABSOLUTE worst. This is why Campaign Finance Reform should NEVER have been allowed. The MSM are in the tank for Kerry and this will happen (and worse) all the way up to the election.
Link no good?
The MSM think they can get away with anything, and they usually do. Their desperation in this election is becoming their undoing.
Bias and political correctness now permeate every section of the Washington Post. "Errors" like this reflect a political agenda at work, not unlike what's going on at CBS and ABC.
Be grateful they moved the correction from the bottom left corner of page 19 to page 2.
I think it's beyond bias and political corrections. It's fraud.
Think about the reality of that just from a point of accuracy. News outlets need at least a week to study the report before even commenting on it. To do otherwise is irresponsible.
those [expletives deleted]!
I don't know why all parties continue to report that no WMDs were found in Iraq. The Duelfer Repost states that 53 Chemical WMDs have been found in Iraq since June of this year. The complete report is available on the following CIA website:

Forty one SAKR-18 Sarin tipped rockets were found in one location. The SAKR-18 is an Egyption manufactured copy of the Soviet BM-21. Each Rocket has a range of 20-40 Km depending on the rocket motor and carries a 38 Kg war head. This particular version of the SAKR carries the capability of dispersing smoke for battlefield concealment. Anyone of these fired into a population center or smuggled into a public gathering could easily inflict 10X 100X the casualties of 911. The real danger was in one of these getting into the hands of terrorists.
