The South Park guys were on Leno this past week, sharing the couch with Dennis Miller, and they showed a clip from the movie. VERY FUNNY! Their impersonation of Kim Jong Mentally-Ill was dead-on. In the clip the potbellied dictator is visited by Hans Blix, who informs him that he needs to open North Korea up to UN Inspections. "And if I don't?" asks Kim.
Blix: "Then the UN will be very angry with you. And we will write you a letter telling you how anrgry we are."
Huge laughs from the audience.

"Not so well, to encourage irresponsibility that will ultimately lead to the disembowelment, mutilation, exploitation, and death of innocent people throughout the world. The vote matters to them. No one's ignorance, including a couple of hip cross-dressers, is an excuse.
All best, and a sincere f**k you, "
they just get dumber and dumber

Mr. Penn, You take yourself too seriously.
Sincerely, F___ you too

If Karl Rove is smart...He will have Bush wearing a South Park T-shirt at one of his next campaign stops. I'm enthusiastic about their movie, but let's not forget that these same South Park guys had a show on Comedy Central called "That's My Bush"--it was very hateful toward the President and it was quickly canceled.

It appears the film does beat up on the bad guys (i.e. Axis of Evil), something Hollywood (Sean Penn) would not want.
On a related but separate note, do you remember a puppet program in the late 1950's or early 60's about a young kid who flew a rocketplane? Johnny Rocket, I think. I remember part of the audio introduction, "... it's the marvel of the age...Supercar!!!!". Maybe "Supercar"?

What a horrible writer! Maybe he should have stayed in school--he would have learned how to form a sentence and turn a phrase.

Well, I don't want to stray far from the topic of this thread which is Sean Penn's hatred for our troops securing democracty in Iraq.
However, I googled Supercar, and found the site for supermarionation, which also includes the technology for the Thunderbirds which you mention.

There is a South Park episode dealing with gays in the Boy Scouts and it is the most intelligent and unbiased treatment of the subject I have ever seen on TV.
To: plantone
It was less hateful...more goofy. Maybe so, but it was out of line, regardless. I remember they were going to have a distasteful storyline on that show about Jenna and Barbara, which caused W himself to warn these guys that they were on thin ice. (The storyline was cut from the show).

They also had one about kids-on-Ritalin that was very good. I would watch South Park more often if they only stopped saying g.d. all the time.

Thanks for the supermarionation link. Is there anything that you cannot find on the net?

The picture accompanying the article was enough for more. Penn looked like the elitist, holier-than-thou a$$hole that he is.
The letter only confirmd it.
