Wow... Ron P. Reagan finally admitted that Bush won the debate!
At the very end of the show, he finally agreed with Pat Buchanan - Kerry won Round 1, Bush won Round 2, and Round 3 will most likely be a draw, and the debates will ultimately have no impact on the election....
It seems likely. Ron Junior is just idealistic enough to think that the dems invited him to speak at their convention because they valued what he had to say. Instead, they used him like a prop the way they use Max Cleland. (Or USED prior to Rathergate - I notice Kerry doesn't mention Max much anymore).
After Kerry flubbed the stem cell answer, it had to be obvious to Ron that Kerry was just using the issue to discredit Bush and that he doesn't give a rat's rump about actually curing anything (or solving any other problems for that matter).
Heck, FoxNews has gone left of center, and is now in the process of ignoring moderates in addition to conservatives. I am at a loss to explain the shift, and I wonder who I will be watching on Election night?
Up there, you know who "kicked" it out of him, don't you. Just win one more for the Gipper, GWB.
msnbc was pretty good tonight. They earned some more of my business tonight.

Speaking of lost causes. How many saw Laura Bush on Leno? Before she was on he had this debate-style conversation with two potential (loser) voters -- they were, really, really dumb and when Laura came out she thought they were an act -- Leno told her, no you can;t hire people to act that dumb. She said that's why we need education reform.
Ronette is pathetic.
I can't understand why Joe Scarborough would let him fill in for him. What qualifications does Ronette have?
Sitting next to a giant like Pat Buchanan in terms of experience and knowledge, Ronette is shown up for the intellictual midget he is.
Brit Humme, Mort Kondrake and Bill Kristol all thought he lost. Fred Barnes said it was a draw. Later Dick Morris said Bush won handily. Over on MSNBC Chris Matthews, Pat Buchanan and Ron Silvers were all downright giddy over Bush.
Very good news. The newspaper of record in Arizona.
I think you're right. Ron's wimpy, not stupid.
Keep emailing -- we need to shock them. O'Reilly actually said in his poll only 13% said he leaned toward Kerry? I thought more Freepers voted that poll than that??? We need to forgo the polls in favor of the pen (email) and become very vocal over the next few weeks.
Speaking of which tonight right there in front of RJ one of the MSNBC panel said Kerry was more like Bush 41 than Bush 43 and that Bush 43 was definitely more Reagan-like than any Republican in a long time.
I may not be the most objective person, but what I am hearing right now is Bush cleaning up. Maybe the Fox crew needs it to soak in for a couple of days. Too close to forest they must be.
The problem with President Bush is, is that in most cases he is always on the defensive. What he has to learn to do is, is to answer kerrys charges and then counter attack by doubling the charges against kerry therefore forcing kerry to defend twice as much as he has to. President Bush has to learn to be the aggressor. He did a great job of defending his presidency to-night but for the most part he was on defense and you don't win debates on defense. If President Bush is going to win re-election he has to rip john kerry's lips off.
The RATs overvoted that poll, much like they are these days with the debate polls. That's why it only showed 13% saying he leaned Kerry.
Good point; he never mentions 'them'. . .as for his base; you would think he is and has; turned some of them off. But for this election; 'hate' is operative; so it may just not matter; truth is, Kerry's 'constituency'does not like him.
Worse, the media that has protected and projected him to presidential horizons; don't like him either.
I am sure these people would support Osama if he said he wanted to be President. . .
This is incredible! I can't understand this switch, does anyone know what is going on?
Agreed. I kept switching back and forth from Fox to the "liberal" news channels. One time I went to Fox, Hillary the Beast was on. I clicked off Fox. Another time, McAuliffe was on Fox. Where were the conservative commentators other than Karen Hughes?
I hope that's what it was. I wrote Brit, and the general Fox Speakout address and voiced by displeasure in their analysis tonight. I mentioned how surprised I was to find MSNBC found the President did excellent and FOX didn't.
No. All I can say is we need to be vocal in emailing them about this.
