Nah...at their home in Parkersburg, WV...they had the good fortune a few weeks back to be upfront-n-personal with President Bush at his campaign rally there. My son said it was incredible, exciting...he said the President is awesome in person. My son will never forget it, I'm sure.
BTW, my son is a youth pastor and he and his wife have teens over quite a bit... but not tonight!

His makeup people must be really bad if they can't compensate for different lighting conditions. Even I can do that, and mine comes from Walmart!
Seriesly, I couldn't watch. I watched the thread, and my kids watched the debate and reported to me any zingers, like the timber company nonsense.

"Will someone please explain what Kerry was referring to with Bush's lumber company??????"
Why yes, Kerry was refering to the woodshed that Bush took him to tonight...if you're looking for some sort of truth from Kerry.....we'll wait up..."

Mr. President, You hit a grand slam tonight! Congratulations.
I saw FEAR IN JOHN KERRY's FACE TONIGHT! This is the first time I've seen it. Kerry can run...BUT HE CAN'T HIDE.
YOU DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB and the talking heads know it!!

I guess so...anyway, they are 2 different guys.
The one that wrote for Dole (Helprin) is not part of ABC, he is a novelist and conservative political writer. "Soldier of The Great War" is one of his well known books. I'm very much a fan of Helprin's writing.

"Kerry was reduced to "we shouldn't label people"
You nailed it. And then Kerry went on to label people. He was pitiful in some ways, eloquent in others, but overall he was playing catchup (Ketchup?) to Bush all night. You can't win a debate defending yourself. I thought this debate was better than any I have seen in years. It all came down to facts vs. fantasy, drumbeat vs. reality. Bush was in command of the facts and wasn't afraid to brutally plunge the knife in when warranted. He told a lot of Americans some things they had not heard before. As CIC he has access to such information and he used it wisely. Congratulations to George Bush.

Maybe FNC is trying to 'make up' with kerry kool aid drinkers because of Carl Cameron's parody about kerry identifying with women since he has his nails done etc...that was posted on the FOX website as authentic news report. Carl was dressed down for his lapse in judgement but understand there were lots of red faces because Carl is the main man for FNC on kerry's campaign.
Whatever the reason, it is disappointing at best to see even Brit misreading the debate performances...but on the other hand, maybe they are intentionally lowering expectations for the President's third debate performance...SCARCASM OFF

Keep in mind that the Yankees and Twins were playing tonight, PLUS, it's a Friday, not a weekday. PLUS, this IS the third debate...

Ignore the online polls. The DNC sends out an e-mail telling their cronies where to go and rig the polls. Also, some use BOTs (programs that vote over and over automatically) to vote over and over hundreds of time every minute.

What I heard was fantastic....Bush was right on target....Kerry waffling....FIgured Bush just had to be himself....which he obviously was......Do you have plans for Jan 20th yet.....Want to go to DC?

I sent FOX an e-mail reminding them that their poll is useless because of Moveon.org and I told them that we conservatives made FOX and we can bring it down.

My only comment tonight, and I had many thoughts and reactions, was the beautiful, young, wholesome-looking blonde woman who asked the question about abortion and the fact that Charlie Gibson let her ask it.I was a bit surprised too. Maybe Charlie decided to let that one as balance if he was going to finish up with the "Mr. President, what are your 3 biggest mistakes?" question.

"Heres the question I would have asked the Senator.
If scientists through stem cell or other research were able to determine and test for a "gay" gene, would you protect a womans right to have that test for the purpose of aborting that unborn gay person. "

It was pronounced va-lid-e-mide. Since my spelling is so poor I can assure you that I can not spell it. ;-)
