Guy I spoke to in DC said he was told not to speak about it and directed me to 212 456-2700. At that number asked if I was with ABC, "No, I'm a consumer", said he knew nothing "Well you better find something out soon because it's your network's representative who is moderating tonight's debate. If this is true, this is a very serious offense".

I called 212 456-2700 and spoke with Miguel. Very nice guy. Has no interest in this thing of course but he got the message as he's trying to prepare for the debate.
