CONTROVERSY HITS ABC NEWS POLITICAL DIRECTOR MARK HALPERIN... EXCLUSIVE DEVELOPING... An internal memo written by ABCNEWS Political Director Mark Halperin admonishes ABC staff during coverage of Democrat Kerry and Republican Bush -- not to 'reflexively and artificially hold both sides 'equally' accountable'...
Flood the local aBc affiliates, but in a very nice way. Mention you have refused to watch cBs due their bias, and now aBc has possibly damaged their own credibility as well. Send quotes from the memo that are being reported in other meida outlets.
Laura Ingraham has it too, discussing it now.
I'm sure many of you have this week felt the stepped up Bush efforts to complain about our coverage. This is all part of their efforts to get away with as much as possible with the stepped up, renewed efforts to win the election by destroying Senator Kerry at least partly through distortions.
ABC: Nothing to see here folks, no bias at all, move along....
It doesn't matter to me. I'm voting for my great cowboy President Bush. I am truly tired of the pre-debate debates and even the after-debate debates. So I'm going to bed now. It's been a long day. I'll get my information tomorrow about this debate from the best, informative source - Free Republic. Good luck President Bush!
most people in the middle don't like their president being attacked. Likely one of the reasons clinton had strong support even during his scandals.
Bush had a rise in the polls coinciding with the exposure of the CBS memogate. That peaked about 2-3 weeks out. This one will likely peak sooner than 3 weeks - and that would be enough time to give bush sustainable momentum going into the election.
I'd sure love to see what ABC means by "distortions" and "take out of context" by Bush!
In short, this is libspeak for "Dammit, Bush is using Kerry's actual words against him".
The RNC video at http://www.kerryiniraq.com is a better piece of real journalism that none of the MSM people have done in years!!!!!
go to the abcnews boards. Under the Debate board.
Posting is...Oh No, another Rathergate.
Wow- someone on the ABC staff is a real patriot, and brave to have exposed this extreme bias. Bu this is very very discouraging. If not for the alternative media, we the people have no objective reporting. I believe tonight's debate - moderated by ABC- should be scrubbed. And ABC credentials to White House press pool pulled pending investigation. When a network considers itself to have "grave responsibilities" to defeat a President- then the Secret Service needs to evaluate the threat of sedition.
CONTROVERSY HITS ABC NEWS POLITICAL DIRECTOR MARK HALPERIN... EXCLUSIVE DEVELOPING... An internal memo written by ABCNEWS Political Director Mark Halperin admonishes ABC staff during coverage of Democrat Kerry and Republican Bush -- not to 'reflexively and artificially hold both sides 'equally' accountable'...Like they really need to be told at this late date.
Exactly.
What can we do besides try and impeach these activist judges and DEMAND a FAIR press?
I rented Outfoxed today. It makes great comedy after "Rathergate" and now the soon to be infamous "Halperin Memo"
I'll take my Fair and Balanced anyday over the networks.
