"Oh. So, the difference is one letter.
Mark Helperin is an outstanding writer and a good Republican."
I know they are 2 different men, but I;m not sure of the good guys spelling.

Cameron confirmed the memo with abc folks. He said Halprin was unavailable for comment.

Carl Cameron was asked by Brit Hume how we know it's genuine and Cameron said several ABC staffers confirm having received the memo.
To: reflecting
(very roughly) Brit and Carl Cameron were speaking of the memo, read a bit of it's contents and Carl said that several ABC colleagues have verified they recieved it. Brit said he know's Halperin and he's a good guy.

Brit mentioned he's a old friend and a good guy. No. Brit was referring to Halperin. If he said what he said, he's not a good guy.
But, Mark Helprin IS a good guy.
Who's on first?

It's up to Kerry to defend himself, of course. But as one of the few news organizations with the skill and strength to help voters evaluate what the candidates are saying to serve the public interest. Now is the time for all of us to step up and do that right.
This is the scariest line I think I have read this week. "Now is the time for all of us to step up and do that right." These guys have really gone over the edge.
The RATs are getting scary. We've got gunshots into multiple PUB offices, thugs invading multiple PUB offices, rampant voter fraud, Berger stealing documents, SeeBS TANG and draft hit pieces, NBC Kitty Kelly three-day promotional tour, and the daily junk at NYT, Boston Globe, etc. The RATs get dangerous when they are out of power. They are desperate.

Thanks for the email addresses. Just emailed both. Told them they would not be allowed to elect the man of their choice through their propaganda machine. Suggested they look in the mirror and discover they were uglier than Dan Rather, and had become, through their actions like the Portrait of Dorian Gray.
Said that they are the mean-spirited and scarey ones, and where did the investigative and analytical skills of reporting go.

They remind me of Hitlers Brownshirts in crystal night in Nazi Germany. Damn, God protect our country from the new Hitlers.

Thanks for the links and email; put to good use.
Back to the debate, so I can hold sKerry accountable, since ABC won't.

I really have run out of words to describe my disdain for the hypocrisy of the mainstream press. They are what they are, and that will probably never change. Thank God for alternative media like FR, talk radio etc.
