"President Bush needs to hold Kerry accountable for his record in a forceful, but nonthreatening way."

You hit the bullseye with that one. He needs to be strong, but not in a "Getting Even" style. That might be the trap the Rats might be setting.......I dont trust those BassTards, not even for a second.....

Didn't Kerry and Clinton, etc., say those exact same things

I remember Clinton, on Larry King, even having the grace to say that the debate should be limited to the best way to wage and win the war in Iraq. Of course he may have been covering up for his part in the intelligence mess. And I think it was in 1998 Kerry was on one of the Sunday talk shows taking a more hawkish view than the Clinton administration.

I didn't say he'd appear angry, I said the MSM would mouth the claim like mantra.

No worry. Our President is blessed by God. I only have to look at his goodness to see that. I think the good people out there see that.

Indeed and apparently ABC, not wishing to be left out in the CBS controversy, is now leading the charge. Everyone should be outraged with Halperin's memo in which he says:

"We have a responsibility to hold both sides accountable to the public interest, but that doesn't mean we reflexively and artificially hold both sides "equally" accountable when the facts don't warrant that".

Let's not forget who Charlie Gibson (host tonight) gets his marching orders from.

I'll bet the ABC mamo ended up being passed by John stossel.

He's the only sane reporter that they have.

The Gallup organization selects it. Charlie Gibson selects the questions.

When I saw that photograph of Kerry which seems to show that he is wearing a wig ( posted on several FR threads,) I immediately thought...that man's having chemotherapy...and lost his hair!

Just speculation on my part. I worked in a medical centre for three years.

I thought this debate was supposed to be about domestic policy. All the pre-hype hype talks about possible approaches to discussing Iraq, WOT, allied nations, etc.

Did the election police decide to change the topic?

"GOD please be our defender tonight! Let the American people see the goodness and the steadfastness of our President!"

Okay, I like to joke around as much as anybody.... but what you have said is so beautiful. You're right, President Bush needs our prayers.

The United States is a defender of liberty, of human dignity, and this country has no equal in the world. How else to explain the hordes of people trying to get into the U.S.?

Dear Lord... please protect this beautiful land, this beautiful bastion of freedom... and please help those who would sacrifice their lives to protect her--including, I know, the President.

In Jesus' name...

...Perhaps the fact they've perfected their method of stealing the election is what gives him such confidence.

Yikes, I hope that they have not perfected their fraud that well yet. That face does look like they might have all their ducks in a row.
