In the run-up to the first debate Republicans allowed their expectations to get unrealistically high. Then many of them freaked when Bush didn't measure up. I'm convinced much of the erosion in the polls since then is despondent people on the Right moaning, "Oh no, here we go again" and diving into the nearest fox hole!

It really is tough to take. I have friends and family that are serving or have served in the military. As far as I'm concerned, Kerry is a traitor.

Ugh, I just realized O'Reilly's show comes on before the debate. I cannot listen to him make his pronouncment that if the president loses this debate, he loses the election.
Just joking. I think. While it would be GREAT if he could coach President Bush, the Bush/Cheney campaign would be given sheer (insert bad word here) for having him around President Bush while the flap is going on in Florida. Brings up another point... Pray the papers the DA took get thrown out because it WILL be used as a case-basis accross the country ... Picture this: You're up against someone in power or he/she knows someone in the DA's office - they threaten you (oops, did I say threaten? I meant advised) that they've just gotten records on you, or wife, or children.... Enough said? And don't believe it can't happen folks....

my daughter's friend since pre-school is in Iraq, he called her today...he WAS suppose to come home NEXT April, but he was told he comes home the first part of DEC!!!!!! What does anyone make of that???
