Good prep for the debate tonight!
I do hope W takes the gloves off. Cheney opened up the line with some good offense a couple of days ago.
Let's roll!

You still watch c-BS, especially the crap Wife Swap? Wife Swap is on ABC, and the one Wed was indeed hillarious.(Don't get the wrong inpression, ist's not sexual in the lease)
And Kev, the network you refer is DNCBS.

Didn't read my entire post, huh?
Of course they are WMDs, but the sheeple won't believe they could be the reason we went to war, because they couldn't hit them in Hometown, U. S. A. Never mind that the material could certainly wind up in the States, and be used as a WMD. That's only confusing the folks.
I was only explaining my opinion as to why the administration isn't going to claim these rockets as found-WMDs.

Bush did okay, but he was too defensive to Kerry's false attacks. There were several opportunities that Bush could have hit him hard and he let them pass by. I looked at the debates like this.. While Kerry was speaking.. I was thinking to myself, "Oh man, Bush can nail him here if he brings up...." I had that thought about 7 or 8 times last Thursday and Bush only came back on 2 of those opportunities. Bush brought up all the potential responses in his big speech the other day, if he would have pulled them in the debates, it would have been lights out. When Edwards was speaking Tuesday, I went through the same thought process... "Cmon Cheney... bring up. .". Edwards gave Cheney numerous situations like that and Cheney connected on about 80-90% of them. That's how I judged how the debates went, and Bush failed on Thursday.. He let Kerry dictate the debate. I will also say that Lehrer was horrible. He failed to bring up a single question regarding Kerry's 20 year senate record which was a complete and total outrage..

it was a mistake agreeing to this format and a sign of weakness that the Bush team agreed to it ( afraid not to )
I read that the Bush team agreed to the three debates because they have found that the more people see of Kerry the more the don't like him. By the third debate the aveage American citizen will be able to see right through his pompous liberal act. I know I get physically ill every time I see Kerry.
Who knows, maybe they miscalculated. I still don't think Bush lost the first debate, especially with the "Global Test" gaffe.

I know what you mean. In all fairness to GWB tho, he must be tuckered out some. He inherited a huge mess right from the start made by Clinton, downward spiraling economy, terrorist attack on the nation in 9/11.., he's fighting an unprecedented type of war on terrorism/Iraq and around the world. GWB has withstood the disruptive and undermining of aggressive enemy nations who have pulled no punch's in trying to discredit his Presidency (and ultimately America), ditto an unfair, dishonest and slanted MSM determined to bring him down, along with a hollywood blitzkrieg of character assassination and unscrupulous overzealous and dishonest demorat attack campaign. The stress he must feel with so many mortal threats against himself and family, the everyday duties of President, the nation's defense against a daily and almost invisible terrorist threat, Iraq war, campaign duties etc. etc. etc.
While his opponent has only to worry about campaigning, Kerry hasn't even bothered to fulfill his duties as Senator in almost 2 years. Kerry has no pressure, concerns and duties whatsoever compared to the enormous burdens on President Bush. When one considers the magnitude of what just one day in the life of President Bush must be and how he manages to fill all those different shoes, it becomes evident that he is a great man and leader. I hope America can get past GWB not sparkling in a debate that's pre-slanted for kerry to win by the partisan MSM and who has really nothing more to worry about than where he might go skiing or surfing next week.

Poor guy is under a lot of scrutiny right now.. he's lucky if he can have a beer. Probably right about that. Wouldn't be surprised if that prosecutor in Florida isn't trying to follow him into the can with a cup on a regular basis.

He had a classic remark about how the American flag looked tacky hanging in front of their duplex. Tackier than the dog hair and feces inside the house? Also, he is the poster boy for why white people should not wear dread locks. I wonder if they advocate the smoking of reefer?

to say "Yes, we have testing.. though not at my level."
Bloody intrusive globalistic crap, that.

My husband just had an emergency double bypass open heart surgery. When he was in the ER this week, every time he started talking about politics, his BP went up. He had a BP monitor and EKG monitor and it was clearly cause and effect. So if you all could keep me posted about the debate -- I'm sure there will be a live thread -- I would appreciate it.
