GREENVILLE, S.C. — Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts said during last night's Democratic presidential debate that the threat of terrorism has been exaggerated.
"I think there has been an exaggeration," Mr. Kerry said when asked whether President Bush has overstated the threat of terrorism. "They are misleading all Americans in a profound way."

Rove better get off his butt and start realizing what hits home with the American people and pick this up. We could still lose this election and if we do, we could very well lose the war.

I have been saying this for over a week on FR and get no response to it.This should have been and should be in every campaign commercial.
Kerry has been CONSISTENT. He has ONE POSITION. It is CONSISTENT. How many times do I have to tell you that Kerry is CONSISTENT? He's like the Rock Of Gibraltar he's so CONSISTENT. CONSISTENT. CONSISTENT. CONSISTENT.
Also, he has a plan. A CONSISTENT plan that he has always had. CONSISTENTLY.
What is the difference, Sen. sKerry, between "exaggeration" and "misleading in a profound way". This guy's spin is making me dizzier by the day. The Debater-in-Chief. When what we need is a Commander in Chief.
Dear God. If this is how Kerry thinks about terrorism and he wins the election, we are all going to be killed.
I also hope that commercial is on the air tomorrow after the terrorism, homeland security focus of tonights debate... John Kerry is inviting attacks... Top of the news on FOX today... US School diagrams, emergency plans,... emergency procedures... I smell a Beslan Assault in the heartland of the US.... When John Kerry says 200 billion too much to spend on the WOT.. I cringe... How dare John Kerry put a price on the lives of my children.

Technically Mr.Kerry, I hope the terrorism threat is shown to be an exaturation every day for the next century. It's only not an exaturation when it takes place, and we've been there before and are still buying tee-shirts.
Kerry's lack of intelligence on the subject of terrorism is chilling. He just invites alQueada or some other nut-case terrorist group to hit us again just to prove him wrong. We are in deep doo-doo if he is elected!
The Prez better make him eat these words.
In only one sense, sir: that we retreat from the confrontation with terrorism and make ourselves a satrapy of the UN. This is not good consistency, but it is consistent.
I'll stop short of calling it evil, but only just.
That exaggerated threat of terror destroyed my company's NYC office on 9/11, and left my colleagues choking on the dust and fumes of the next-door World Trade Center.
I guess we just imagined it though, because Kerry assures me there is no real threat of terrorism.
If Bush/Rove does not include this in the debate tonight...they are not paying attention and will lose this debate. This will shut down the Kerry campaign in another 2-3 swing states if Bush unleashes Kerry's own words.
Prayers that God spares this nation from the dangers of a Kerry Presidency.
