Election day for an absentee vote is when you get your ballet. There is absolutely no excuse for this and those returned fraudulent ballots should be tossed!!

We should have a Freeper action item that every county in America, one of us should order an absentee ballot to make sure it's right!

Utterly absolutely agreed. Why don't you start a new thread to do so?

"The ballots were mailed beginning Sept. 21, and Carter County Clerk Becky Gibbs said several voters noticed the oversight"

"oversight" = PC for Democratic five finger fraud! More B.S. I loathe liberals more with each new day. They're bottom feeding skanks.

Van Buren is in the Ozarks, and big time Bush country. Don't go crazy because a small-town county clerk screwed up.

My thoughts exactly.

If this happened in St. Louis or Jackson County then I'd be worried.

I am worried about a repeat of 2000 in North St. Louis City. I'm sure the rats will try to crash the polls again.

But, some people may have voted early and then left town. They won't get the corrected ballots, if they are planning to be gone for a while. This is an outrageous mess!

BTW, our ballots in Wisconsin aren't even ready yet and it's less than 3 weeks to the election. Anyone who was planning a lengthy trip overseas (as many businessmen do) is out of luck.

Our ballots are so late because the Dems were trying to keep Nader off the ballot and the Supreme Court just put him back on. You'd think that the ballot would be all ready to go and they could have just deleted Nader if he were pushed off and then printed.

But no, it will take more than a week after the decision to get the ballots printed. That means the ballots are not likely to be ready until next Tuesday, leaving 2 weeks for mailing and returning. This will eliminate a lot of voters -- mostly Republicans.

And you think this sort of thing hapeening across the nation is all simple innocent mistakes and errors? I DON'T THINK SO. It's all part ofthe plan. The Democrat plan to steal the election! Wake up people!

The Lawyers are already lined up for election day. You know this is going to be messy. There have been reports of deceased people being registered and underage children. We need a romp to quell it all.

I consider it an absolute impossibility that this was not noticed before they were mailed.

My husband does accounting for subsidized housing. Those people require free day care and transportation to the polls to make sure they're not "disenfranchised" because they're "poor."

I own property in Van Buren - It's Bush Country - I perceive it's probably an honest mistake...

If they don't return a new ballot, their first one will be counted.

This is really "in your face". Want to bet the Carter County Clerk is a dimocRat? The real tragedy here is that the Repubs won't go to court to overturn it, no guts. Four years ago, the dims elected a dead man to the senate, even though the law states the person elected "MUST" be a citizen of the state on the day he is elected. Again, the MO repubs just said "golly gosh darn" and didn't file suit, so widder carnahan became an appointed senator with retirement benefits forever (our tax money as work).

You mean to tell me that only "several" voters noticed that the President was missing from the ballot!

Hey, dead people and dogs don't notice anything on the GOP side of the ballot.

"We are rectifying it," she said. "There was no intent to leave them off."

Yeah, right and I am the King of Prussia!
This stuff is so..."in your face" makes me puke!.

Those fubar'ed up Liberals are so desperate, that they want you to believe that, by omitting the President and the Vice president from the election ballot it should be considered as a snafu! (...in a nation wide presidential election you forget to name the Prez and Viceprez as contenders?

This is an major insult to my Intelligence and I don't take it lightly!

I hope so! That's 500 voters. It's also a swing state.

Thanks for the addresses. I've sent an email to each one requesting the basis for counting the erroneous ballots. If/when I get an answer, I will post it.
