One of the most prolific purchasers of the oil was Swiss-based Glencore run by one-time fugitive American financier Marc Rich (news - web sites), which the report alleges paid over $3.2 million in kickbacks to the Iraqi government. Rich, formerly wanted for tax-evasion was pardoned by President Clinton (news - web sites) in his last days in office. Doesn't that make you want to say: "Hmmmmm!"

Good article. I recommend folks go further and read the report, I did. It is an easy and quick read. It defines that Saddam was exploiting the only tactic the UN had to deal with him. It explains why France, Russia, and China had alot (of billions) to lose by joining our coalition.
Also, the anti-war crowd needs to read the Duelfer report and read it with an open mind so they can absorb the fACTS. Although most of them seem overwhelmed with emotion when facts and logic disprove their claims. This report clearly disproves their claims about our "unjust" war with Iraq.
