To: yonif
The head of Israeli airports say the contrary...
He says that the border is sort of opened...
What is not yet given, is permission for Israeli helicopters to fly in Egypt...
To: Dog
I post when I hear...
Now the head of the security committee in the Knesset says that they have not yet any idea of who did it...
To: Dog
... but he believe that it will be linked to Hamas...

Um, it still says one has to be compared to nazis. Simply bringing up nazis or WW2 isn't under this.

Yep.
From the Godwin piece you linked to: "The Nazi-comparison meme, I'd decided, had gotten out of hand - in countless Usenet newsgroups, in many conferences on the Well, and on every BBS that I frequented, the labeling of posters or their ideas as "similar to the Nazis" or "Hitler-like" was a recurrent and often predictable event. It was the kind of thing that made you wonder how debates had ever occurred without having that handy rhetorical hammer." This is from the Godwin article you linked to.
I did not compare you or your idea to Nazis or Nazism. You have the honor of being Chamberlain. Or is there some "law" against referring to historical appeasers as well?

35 dead now... They believe it was a truck.
At Ras alSatan, the Egyptians speak of 43 people wounded.

This is my personal opinion, so I will preface it:
The Egyptian passive-aggressive border enforcement and malicious compliance with Israeli requests for humanitarian assistance is really irking me.
It only served the purpose of maximizing the extent of injury and death the Israelis suffered in the attacks by denying them the "golden hour" of emergency medical treatment.
I wont go so far as to blame Egypt for aid and comfort to the terrorists by helping them maximize the casualties, but it sure looked that way from the outside.
If they intentionally did that, then they are no better than the terrorists who exploded the ordinance.

Um, it still says one has to be compared to nazis. Simply bringing up nazis or WW2 isn't under this. Actually comparing anything to Nazis (or Hitler) invokes it. It does not have to be a personal attack calling someone a Nazi or refering to them as Hitler. If this continues I am going to have to call Shenanigans. :)

Egypt Continue to Delay Rescuers 01:31 Oct 08, '04 / 23 Tishrei 5765
(IsraelNN.com) A report from Taba at about 01:00 confirmed that Egyptian authorities continue to impede the arrival of rescuers, explaining that dozens of MDA medics on board a bus were being held up prevented from reaching the Taba Hilton. At some point, the medic left the bus and began making their way on foot.

Egyptians are still asking for passports, and this even from people whose passports are in the hotel!
Bastards!

I don't mean to lessen the dispicable occurrence, but after all it is "The Hilton". What has this family accomplished to further morality...need I say more. Did they bomb a Hilton in Kenya? Wasn't the hotel they were after, rather the tourists.

I support Israel, her allies, and whatever military action needs to happen to protect her. I support eradicating the terrorists. I don't support armchair quarterbacks talking smack.
I responded in support of someone who questioned the "Bomb the Pyramids/be cute by writing the f word with the letters reversed" mindset. If you want to argue, I welcome it, but argue the point I was making -- that the vitriol in parts of this thread is not on the side of right -- nor is hate.
To: SeattleTiger
Bombing the pyramids is foolish because they hold little interest for Muslims; indeed, the Taliban would probably treat them as they did the Buddhist mountain carvings.
However, given the reactions of the Egyptian government posted on this thread, it is apparent that our enemies are not only the terrorists themselves but the civilians who cheer them, succor them and drag their feet in fighting them. If "moderate Islam" exists, it had better rise up and bring us some terrorists' heads on pikes. Until then, I feel that just as we did not blather about "moderate Shinto" or "mainstream fascism" in World War II, we had best be prepared to understand what the Muslims already do: theirs is a fighting faith and they are practicing it with relish.

Well you can clearly blame Egypt for supplying the terrorists in Gaza, in violation the the 79 treaty, of which the US is a party. Egypt is a party to the terror.

Again, I'll refer you to the link you posted. Note it refers to posters and their ideas. Up until this point, I have assumed you do not identify yourself with terrorists. Have I been wrong? I don't think I was. I still see you as Chamberlain.
