Is this "War in the Shadows" that was published in 1975? I've brought the 2 volume set used on Amazon but haven't read it yet. I'm presently reading "War of the Flea" another great book.
I was listening to Roger Hedgecock, too, and the book sounded great! Time to go to Amazon...

Just heard the author this A.M. He didn't vote for W. the first time around and it wasn't intended to be a pro admin book.

The Bush admin has created a coalition of ties to the intel services in 106 countries. It has smashed the Al -Qeda network in S.E. Asia. Lots of details on who is helping.
Amazingly enough, the French intelligence service is cooperating with us. For political reasons, they have to bad-mouth the U.S.
The book and author, Richard Miniter, give credence to the thought that the main stream media is actively working against the Bush admin.
