Naw I would never accuse that honorable man of being such a person. (/sarcasm off)

But seriously it's looking more & more like Republican's are now being treated by the left like blacks were treated when MLK was fighting for their equal rights. I'm not saying it's as bad as blacks were treated, not by a long shot... but then again the similarities are striking indeed.

What I said is true, as it is required by current Federal regulations (Regulation CC: Availability of Funds and Collections of Checks). If I understand your story correctly, you had an overdraft because your deposit bounced, not because the bank refused to let you have your money.

Your funds were not available because the check you deposited was returned, not because of a "hold" by the bank. Once a check bounces, your bank has to wait until they actually get the funds before they can release them to you. Unfortunately, that takes some time is some cases.

If you deposit cash or a good check, you will have very quick availability. If your deposit is returned by the bank upon which it was drawn, you will not.

If they lose this time, they will raise what is in effect an SA (or, more properly, a Red Guard) before we ever vote again.

Their leadership has gone over to the Marxist idea of "false consciousness" to explain why they keep losing-if only the voters were "properly educated", they would win, so, acting as a revolutionary vanguard should, they do what is necessary in the best interests of the people.

It's Robespierre and the General Will all over again, with a dash of Huey Newton for that guilty suburban white lady thrill.

"I will not put a Bush/Cheney poster on my lawn or a sticker on my car. I've already heard of people with such bumper stickers having their cars sabotaged in various ways. "

I've noticed in my neighborhood in PA that many whom I'd expect to display support for the President over his unaccomplished, un-American opponent are opting for a safer "Support Our Troops" ribbon car decal.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does "keyed" mean? Having your car's body scratched with car keys?

"In that case, I feel very sorry for the liberals."

I don't.

"This really reminds me of places like Kingston Jamaica where politics can frequently result in a gunfight. When these hedonistic liberals speak of tolerance, they mean that you should be tolerant, it doesn't include themselves."

With all the rigging the Democrats are apparently up to for this election, while employing their usual tactic of deflecting attention by accusing the Republicans of the same, our election resembles those in places such as you mention in that way as well.

In a strange sort of way, the hysterical vandalism of Bush campaign signs and other actions by liberals seems almost positive to me...

They seem to know in their gut they are going to lose the election and they are lashing out like spoiled toddlers.

You know what happens to your insurance rates if your car gets "Keyed?"

There is a viciousness that seems to be permeating the Dems more and more this year---

I moderate a dance newsgroup, and we have a strong 'no politics' policy, because we are soooo divided politically. Three times in as many weeks I have had to clamp down on people posting inflamitory chain emails etc. Which quickly turned into Bush/Republican bashing threads.

Yep, and they were all Dems, and they all got huffy about 'freedom of speech'. It is literally like the rules don't apply to them.

They shut up when I reminded them of the rules (and that I, as moderator/Queen would rip their lil' ole hearts out to use as a doorstop).

The drivers usually look like freaks of nature.

Out here when you see a car stickered like that you don't even have to look to know there's either a fat, paisley tent wearing, patchouli oil soaked, earth mother or a scraggly haired, bean pole, tree hugging, birkenstock wearing androgyne driving it...

Looks like the Democratic Brown Shirts are alive and well. Its a shame the tolerant liberals don't practice the tolerance that they preach.

Both my vehicles display Bush/Cheney stickers, W04 stickers, Vietnam Vets Against John Kerry Stickers, and SwiftVets stickers. I also have two homemade stickers in the side windows which say "Give Vietnam Vets The Parade They Never Got, Defeat John Kerry. I also have a "BUSH #1" sign on the front seat to respond to "single finger salutes".

I have not had any response to my stickers, good or bad. I travel a very busy highway to and from work. I'm starting to believe that the NRA sticker has something to do with it.

They do that, but they kick back the fees if you get on the horn and feed them a lot of crap. They did it to us after an ~10K deposit and I basically said "Do you really want to be pissing off a customer who carries 3 accounts, a mortgage and makes occasional multi K deposits to your bank?"
