No, actually Steve is fine. He made his peace with all this long ago, rejoined the military and served out his career in the Coast Guard. Steve became a Christian several years ago and has let go of a number of aspects of his past. The one thing he felt was still a loose end from his VVAW days was an opportunity to apologize to Vietnam veterans, and Larry Bailey and Terry Garlock of the Kerry Lied Rally gave him that opportunity.
