I carry a Leatherman Wave on my belt at all times. It is the last Leatherman I will thus carry. I start shopping for a new tool tomorrow.
I'm mailing mine back with a note explaining why. I like Gerber stuff better anyway.
Actually, I stopped wearing my Leatherman Tool a few years ago. I still keep in in my toolbox, though.
I was at a client's who was having a problem with a computer. I set down my tools, grabbed my leatherman tool from my belt, and in about 10 minutes, had her problem fixed (loose connector). The client decided that she didn't want to sign my service order because I hadn't even opened my tool box. I spoke to her supervisor, telling her that I would be happy to put the computer back the way it was before I left. The supervisor agreed to sign it, but that was the last time I used it right from my belt.
