I think the point you are missing is that most on Freerepublic look at this as a home not some random msg board that they found and like for it to be respected and not have someone come on and treat it like their personal blog spot. Punctuation and spelling goes along ways on this board. Arguing with other members does not. It's just a little razzing and constructive criticism, try not to take it to heart.
I stopped at Best Buy on the way home from work. Couldn't find Farenhype 911...an employee asked if i needed help - i said yes, farenhype 911...he took me right too it. when i went to pay, the little girl on the register said, "oh farenheit 911, have you seen it?" I said, "no this is farenhype 911 (emphasizing the hype) and I WILL NEVER WATCH FARENHEIT 911"...she sort of chuckled nervously and said "ok"....i paid and left!
I would suggest that every Freeper go to Borders and Barnes and Noble and ask for it by name, then watch as the book libs stutter in disbelief.
See the previous paragraph, for an example of poor presentation.
i havent been a member all that long (assuming that wasn't sarcasm), i only joined to post a review of 'MMHA'
And this is the primary reason, along with your recent birthdate, that I suspected that you are a du troll.
so that others who hadn't seen the movie, would have some sort of idea of its content. and in that same spirit of sharing information, i have now posted this review.
I don't believe you. For in fact I think that most people for a long time now have been aware of just what a pack of lies is Moore's so-called "documentary". In fact a liberal Democrat friend of mine who saw the movie said that it was so unfair and unbalanced an attack on President Bush that he has decided to vote for The President.
if you dont have a comment about my actual review, then please dont bother. if you are going to act so indignant towards a few errors, at least have the courtesy to cite at least one example.
Your whole post is an example of the most pitiful of typing, grammer, content, etc. that I have even seen.
if not, why do you comment? again, as one of my earlier comments says, i really couldn't care less about punctuation and/or capitilization. if it isn't A+ material, so what?
am i being graded?
Yes and you have failed.
this is some random online message board...
Everything about this post suggests the work of a du troll, who knows nothing of The Free Republic or of it's members. The overall content and body of your posts just go further to confirm my opinion of what I think was your original purpose in posting.
You thought you had found a clever way of posting a story damaging to the President by posting a "review" of that sorry piece of shiite movie. A movie that everyone in the entire world has known about for many months.
It didn't work!
I'm waiting for my copy of "hype" to get here. I should get it on Monday.
Just saw the movie at a neighbor's house. While watching it, I was shaking my head thinking how gullible people were who got sucked in by Michael Moore.
Anyway, one of the particularly intriguing items that the movie featured was the name of the Carlyle Group's major investor -- George Soros.
I mentioned this on another post I think, but I got a chance to rent this movie myself the first day Fahrenheit 911 came out at Hollywood Video here in Houston. There were only two copies at the video store. The clerk told me I was the only one she knew of that knew about this movie. I just smiled.
It is a powerful dvd documentary. The part of the documentary with the military soldiers and what they had to say about Michael Moore is worth seeing if nothing else. That truth should be told. I want say much about the dvd becaue I want people to buy it for themselves and make judgment, but it definitely has a strong anti-Moore message or messages in it .
Brad in Houston
It is definitely worth seeing. The movie completely shows Moore to be a devious liar. I don't think anyone, even a liberal, could suck up Moore's "documentary" unquestioningly after seeing this. Love Ron Silver.
