Last night, Vice President Cheney demonstrated yet again, that he is brilliant, thoughtful, responsible, calm, eloquent, and totally hot.
I posted this picture on a thread last night. It highlights his half smile, the twinkle in his eyes, the knowing look of a man who is confident and comfortable with himself.
He exudes power and humility.
He can hold his own with anybody:
Who would you rather lead you through a storm to safe ground: Vice President Cheney, or the Silky Pony?
He is extremely attractive in every way.
Who better to be vice president?
And there's another aspect of this man, who has shown authority and mastery as a businessman and as an elected leader, an aspect that women in touch with their nurturing instinct will recognize: Vice President Cheney has a certain vulnerability...

I think Dick Cheney is sexy, too-not in the same cowboy way that Dubya is, but in a more cerebral way. I might also be somewhat biased because my husband is bald and has blue eyes, too...
Chicks want guys who are in control and who can protect them. Ya just know Cheney is one of those guys.

I first knew I was in Crush over Cheney during the Cheny/Lieberman debate. Cheney had just told Lieberman he would help him find a new job in the Real World when I turned to my husband and confessed : "I think I am in LUUURVVVVVVVVE!!!!"
We are fortunate to have such a decent man as our Vice President and God forbid that he should have to take over the presidency, we would be in good hands... on the other side, it's frightening to even consider.

I think for me is the fact that he is unflappable. Not too many men around like that, and I cant help but think that someone to whom nothing ever phases and will keep steady is someone very attractive, especially when there is so much else in this world that is unsteady and unpredictable.
And I am one of those weird girls who LIKES predictability in a man.
I had the pleasure of meeting the Vice President while deployed to the Middle East a few months after 9/11. A Secret Service agent buddy of mine (and former Air Force security specialist) was part of the VP's detail and even got me an autographed photo a month later.
The VP was a gentleman, spoke to us eloquently and from the heart and will always have a fan in me. -- TD
He certainly is the man of the hour. Last night he became one of my HERO'S. I knew all along he'd eat GIRLIE MAN alive. And he did in such a beautiful way. KUDOS to our wonderful VP...thank you Vice President Cheney...we love you.
