Mike Barnicle was comparing the debate to a Dad who is listening to stupid ramblings and excuses from his son, and Dad (Cheney) firmly corrects his misguided little boy over and over. Barnicle said Cheney should have asked Edwards for the "keys to the car" at the end of the debate.
I agree with this analogy.

Watched some before the debate. Noticed PMSNBC had a crawler with something about Bush and his National Guard duty going across the bottom of the screen. Sheesh! That is sooooo over but they still can't give it up.
