Think SNL and an Edwards impersonator making paper airplanes while a Cheney impersonator opens a big can of WHOOPASS.LOL! The contrast was staggering, Cheney was overwhelmingly the winner. Edwards made a big mistake bringing Cheneys daughter into the debate.
To: rundy
I hate to say it, but I fear Edwards pantsed the Veep! Cheney played way too much defense and very little offense. Absolute garbage. Cheney kicked butt..Edwards not only was on the defensive but he was clearly nervous and unsure of himself.
In the most spirited exchange there was Cheney layed Edwards out...NO CONTEST.
They are already playing Cheney's best lines on MSNBC. That's saying something.

I just wish Cheney had turned to Edwards and ask him if he was Saddam's defense lawyer. Edwards made 3 references to "Saddam didn't attack us'. That was as smarmy as it gets. Other than that Cheney took the kid to school.

He said somethign about her being gay; I'll have to find the exact quotes; it came from out of nowhere. It was shameless.

Although he did not thank whatshisface in his closing remarks, and remained seated while shaking his hand....priceless! Just showed who was in charge, and slightly PO'd.

The "Senator Gone" line actually came from an NC newspaper. My own opinion is that Edwards is not only not experienced enough to lead, he's actually got more experience at being a candidate for office than any job he's ever held other than Trial Lawyer.

About as many times as Kerry said it the other night.

She got confused but it was no biggie. The VP is very efficient, he doesn't use a scalpel, he uses a laser so he doesn't leave any arterial bleeders when he slices and dices.

He may have BEEN there, but I'm sure they didn't meet.
Cheney would have never made a statement like that unless he was sure.
Don't get sucked into debating Democrat spin spew. The point made is how Kerry-Edwards have been awol from their Senate seats for almost 2 years now. Waste of time counterpunching the Lunitic Left's hysteria.

STILL OUT FOR THE COUNT!

Like she would actually be honest and admit Veep Cheney's wife SCARED her because she is so much SMARTER and HONEST? I don't think so....!
To: LDA78
I would hope that the president will capitalize on the "flickering light" nonsense in his upcoming speech. That's the same kind of "mailaise" comment that destroyed Jimmuh Carter's lame campaign. Go for the jugular, Mr. Bush.

Hey, I just looked under my computer desk and found a plan. Must be one that Kerry/Edwards was planning on using!

Fox news poll has edwards winning. Bummer. CNN only ask if this debate changed your mind on who to vote. More said yes than no.

One of my favorite points was when Cheney said he doesn't have to worry about what some caucus goer in Iowa is going to think of his decisions in 2008 - ZING!After tonight, Edwards will not be trudging in the snows of New Hampshire in 2008.
His career is caputs!!
To: CFC__VRWC
There was one verbal gaffe Edwards made that had us laughing so hard we couldn't hear the rest of his answer.
It was when he misspoke and said "crime" instead of "prison". IIRC. Something about putting criminals into crime, (rather than into prison.)
