I see your point in general, but she was a huge improvement over Lehrer. And I still think Edwards completely fumbled the AIDS questions, regardless of her intent.

IFILL: I will talk to you about health care, Mr. Vice President. You have two minutes. But in particular, I want to talk to you about AIDS, and not about AIDS in China or Africa, but AIDS right here in this country, where black women between the ages of 25 and 44 are 13 times more likely to die of the disease than their counterparts.
What should the government's role be in helping to end the growth of this epidemic?

It's not the votes. It's the money. The dems got that up front. Now they have very little use for that constituency. Won't even toss them a bone in the freakin' Vice Presidential debate.Right. The Democrat party has set themselves up as a party that amounts to nothing more than a party that panders to groups, like Rainbow/Push, NAACP, GLAAD, NOW, the environmentalist whackos. Each group gets paid off by the DNC just so that one group or all of them doesn't rock the Democrat boat. It's demonstrated especially by Rangel and Jesse Jackson earlier this year telling the Kerry camp to basically get off the "Vietnam kick", because it bears no interest in their interests. You can bet The Punk was feverishly writing checks to those two clowns to clam them up, and Jesse ended up getting the cushy position as Kerry advisor. LMAO!

I'm sure there is an expert html freeper who can decipher line 1 better than I can. The important part of the html is line 2. That's the line that turns the web link which says it is factcheck.com into the url of the George Soros site. The trick is that the link says one thing, but the html defining it says another, thus tricking the unwary!

Is Kerry anorexic or does he just buy clothes 6 sizes to big?
To: andie74
yeah, We'll give him that.

Have you noticed that most guys don't get it. They think all women will just melt at the sight of Silky and his big hair. I am so not attracted to Silky in any way. Sex appeal really has nothing to do with looks. It all about confidence in what you believe and speaking the truth without fear of retribution. Dick Cheney is comfortable in his own skin and is not afraid to show it. Very sexy.

Tonight's debate was nothing more than the head of the large city bank denying the future college student a student loan.

I'm sorry...could you check the back of your TV? I think you're getting video feed from Bizarro world.
Cheney spent nearly all his time talking about accomplishments, and he took Edwards to school. Any voter who got defensiveness from Cheney and forcefulness from Edwards is someone we weren't going to get anyway.
He, like Kerry the other night was very forceful in saying absoulutly nothing.
Yeah, just like Bubba was forceful when he said he never had sex with that woman.

I think anyone who hasn't decided by now, given the vast amount of information available, is either too lazy to do the research, or a moron. OR, wants their 15 min. of fame to be in a focus group on national TV

And The Winner Is ... Edwards
NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2004
John Edwards continued the Democratic tickets winning streak in Tuesday night's vice presidential debate. He was judged the winner by uncommitted voters who watched the debate, just as John Kerry was last week.
Forty-one percent of these uncommitted debate watchers said Edwards won the encounter, while 28 percent chose Vice President Dick Cheney. Another 31 percent thought it was a tie.
Immediately after the debate, CBS News interviewed a nationally representative sample of 178 debate watchers assembled by Knowledge Networks who were uncommitted voters voters who are either undecided about who to vote for or who have a preference but say they could still change their minds.

So, you thought Edwards won the debate, yet you posted this...
It is now clear to me how Edwards has been able to make so much money in his court cases, he is quite expert in getting people without brains to agree with him.
Too funny.
