Here is the first part of Annie's book. ABC News Good Mornings Website has some excerpts from it.
I must say for all the stories we've heard of booksellers hiding conservative books Annie's book was on display in the front of the store.

Reserved my copy at the library website last night. The books are "In Processing". I'm hoping that means they are in but being put in the system.
I'm #8 on the reserve list and they have dozens of copies coming in so I'm hoping to be able to read in w/in the next couple of days.

The American President...In this movie, Michael Douglas plays Bill Clinton as Clinton would like to be handsome, thin, courageous, liberal, and widowed. Heh heh...

Bought it today and read half on the train. Coulter writes spendidly and is as snide as ever.

Only in Hollywood could a sitcom that parodies a U.S. president and is titled There's My Bush be about George Bush rather than Bill Clinton.
Well, the show was called That's My Bush, and while it did parody Bush 43, it wasn't really a negative portrayal.

You can't really 'talk' to the kind of liberal Ann is describing. It's like trying to 'talk' to Bin Laden or Zarqawi. Exhibit 'A', DU. I think the liberals you can talk to are not saying much these days (like Lieberman). I think that secretly they hope Kerry looses so they can get their party back. It's like trying to 'talk' to Bin Laden or Zarqawi. Exhibit 'A', DU.

I like Coulter and Ingraham. They are gutsy, they don't back down, they speak their minds with passion and humor. Republican men can learn from them.

The last 2 Ann Coulter books came out in July or late June and I read each of them in a day or so almost as soon as they were available.
Is this one actually in the stores yet?

Yep, it was prominently displayed right in the front of the local Barnes & Noble here in Evanston, Illinois right next to some book by none other than Michael Moore. I was pleasantly surprised to find the woman at the register polite and friendly, and she even told me to "enjoy your book", as Evanston is a pretty liberal place. I was expecting to get the look of disapproval and some rude under the breath comment as I have received numerous times back home in Ohio.

In Oak Park IL they actually had a poster advertising Coulter in the window. I almost fainted. Oak Park, for you non-Illinoisans, is a little bit O'Berkeley here in the Midwest.

Maybe if you had a Babel fish, like in HHGttG? Talking to a liberal is like going on a trip with Ford Prefect. Don't forget your towel, and Beware of the Leopard. Oh, and if Kerry gets elected, we're all going to near bumper stickers that read 'Don't Panic' in reassuringly large letters.

Heard one about "Independence Day" Question: "Could you see Bill Clinton jumping into a fighter and facing the aliens?" Answer: "No, but I could see him and Randy Quaid out in the cornfield 'burning one'!"

In real life, Monica Lewinsky can be heard on tape describing Clinton's executive branch thus: "Think of a thumb." No wonder liberals prefer the world of make-believe.

Barnes and Noble and Borders and Books have both assured me it is in the front of their stores in Connecticut, and so, I bought a copy at Borders and Books today.
I only read the first 30 pages so far, the second chapter starts with reprints of her columns that were most controversial and those that were censored and some never seen.
I read at the gym when I am on the stairmaster...looks like I am going to be sore by Friday...
