Can you explain your linking further to the HTML challenged? Is this copying over the link target and saving it on FR? or?

Do the following:

• Find the picture you want somewhere on the Internet. You can't link to it from your harddrive.
• Right click on the picture and select Properties.
• Highlight the item labeled Address (URL). It will look something like http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/Groups/133/133192/pages/316580/bulldog.gif
• Go to the Posting box on Free Republic where you want to post the pic.
• Type <img src="http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages/p/Groups/133/133192/pages/316580/bulldog.gif">
• Preview your work.
• Click Post.

OK... Say you have a link in your browser address bar called: http://www.blahblahblah.com

If you want to link it and call it My Link, what you would type is this:

<A Href="http://www.blahblahblah.com">My Link</a>

It will look like this: My Link
