Please, don't nobody laugh at me... I'm confused. How's a live thread work? What's it for?

It's where we will post live comments while the debate it going on.
It's going to fly.

Ha, ha, ha, ha...oh sorry. A live thread is just an ongoing discussion during an event.

Please, don't nobody laugh at me... I'm confused. How's a live thread work? What's it for? You're supposed to post large graphics and have plenty of off topic conversations about supermodels and your favorite beer.
Just kidding. It's to discuss the event as it's happening, and to keep the TV/Radio impaired up on what's happening.

It's multi-tasking at its best. Watch the debate and read/post your comments as it goes. It's like watching it with a couple of thousand buds. Better read fast!

A live thread is one in which a live event (such as the debates, the State of the Union speech, the UN Security Council meetings, etc) is going on. We watch the event and make comments as the event happens. It is the BEST way to watch these debates, as people point out errors, lies, etc.
You will enjoy it. Please stay and participate!

Just imagine we're all in the same room commenting aloud on the debate. Except instead of talking, we're typing. Instead of listening, we're reading.
It's really a typing test.

Please, don't nobody laugh at me... I'm confused. How's a live thread work? What's it for? I would describe it as a thread where posters gather to share comments on live event, as it occurs.
The real time responses make it lots of fun. It's like having around a hundred of your freinds over to watch the Cheney-Edwards debate together. I love it.

A live thread posts comments and observations, some transcription (as best we can) of the event as it happens. Often someone will just "reply to" the nearest post so don't be surprised if someone posts to you in particular---it's really meant for the thread at large and the person just clicked on the post they were reading at the time.
