There is no cohesion in this thread....did Kerry give a news conference or not???...and if so..did he take questions?? I don't have the luxury of being able to watch the news..I'm getting 90% of the current events online...

I am trying to find the article on Bremer but pre-war he was against the invasion. And I will stand by my opinion, Bremer was given to much authority and when he dismissed the Iraqi forces he set us back.

Check out my post with sKerry's comments - CNN hyped it as a "news conference", but only reported on about 4 minutes of it an then cut away.

I guess they didn't find it "newsworty". No one else carried any of his comments, 'sfar as I know...

Kerry held this to make hay with Bremmer's comments that we needed more troops.

Problem is, Bremmer never asked for more troops. Look at this:

There are more than 50,000 Iraqis now working with us on security matters in the police and the border guards and the civil defense corps, and in the new Iraqi army. So Iraqis are more and more assuming responsibility for their security here.
