BTTT
I strongly suggest that you take a look at the sponsors of the House and Senate bills. Last time that I checked, They were Democrats. I would like to know why Mr. Kerry has not used his considerable influence to have the bills withdrawn. Perhaps you should ask him about that. Fortunately with Republican control of both houses, you have nothing to worry about. Please keep me informed.
ACTION ping (it's getting rather busy the past few days)
Do you have a list of the 14 DumbAsCrap supporters?
You REALLY want to let the kids know how scary Kerry is? Tell them about his plan for MANDATORY "volunteer" service as a requirement for graduation. Mighty drafty these days, close the door on the prospect of a Kerry presidency.

It's called "The Big Lie". Goebbels was a proponent of the technique. Michael Moore and Terry McAwful exploit it every day to deceive people into voting Democrat.
thanks!
I was at a restaurant and overheard too parents lamenting that their daughter had said that she was not going to vote because she had heard that there was a draft looming and so she shouldn't vote Republican and then she heard that the Democrats created the legislation. She had "determined" that she couldn't trust either side and thus would not vote.
I think that her parents may have actually been Republicans, I did not intervene.
If their daughter had looked into the matter, she would have seen that the entire thing was a Democrat scare tactic (the big lie) that is being advanced by the DNC and the mainstream media. But that would give credence to the notions that the mainsteam media is biased to Democrats and that Democrats are evil because they are dishonest in advancing their agenda.
People can say that Republicans are "mean" because they don't let people "do stuff" or "give them things" but we are honest in our positions. The Democrats lie to get people on board. The Nazis had a habit of doing that to get people on trains, too.
There is no "generosity" in giving to the poor through taxes that are mandatory. Private donation to charity and volunteer service are the true signs of generosity. "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need" is just Marxism. And they wonder why we call them "commies".
This is easy. Just put your text above into an email that is headlined:
DEMS PROPOSE RETURN TO SLAVERY
The Draft Myth
http://www.neoperspectives.com/draft.htm
Draft bump
Rangel's "draft bill" is being argued on the floor of the House right now on CSPAN1. It was brought up to put to rest this nonsense. Not a single Republican will vote for it, as will most Democrats.
>>As many of you know, there are shameful "scare" emails circulating around the internet...
not just on the internet... RAT foot soldiers have bragged
about using this in their door-to-door GOTV efforts, and claim
it is quite effective.
I recall reading another case where a high schooler pointed
out in class that it is the dems that were proposing this
in both houses of congress, and NO one, not even the teacher
would believe him.
I think it reads more instantly clear to everyone if you show it...
