I'd say - although the above quote conforms to the standard Demo(c)Rat code of ethics, it appears as though this candidate is showing desperate signs of being perturbed at the lack of public support for his party. And this party animal is sulking again!
Did John Ed/(Back)wards really utter these words? He is trying sooooo hard to look like a potential V.P. or even potential President-in-crisis. Or were those words, in a haunting shrill voice, pronounced by someone in the back wings who was mischievously manipulating a marionette?
Heh ............ Hillar(it)y - is that you? Your pant cuffs are showing under the curtain!

John Edwards just called a large majority of the American Population Insane. I hope these words come back to bite him where it won't grow back.

Oh yes, great campaign strategy. The only thing this guy needs to bring it all together is a screaming tirade and an assault on a guy in a Bush/Cheney T-shirt like Al Franken.

Well - if that's so, he better stop his Dem campaign workers from registering all those alzheimers patients in the rest homes.

Funny...I think anyone who votes for a self-confessed war criminal who turned on the US military and gave aid and comfort to the enemy, who has the most liberal voting record in the Senate (when he shows up, has never accomplished anything but marrying two rich heiresses, and who has the personality of of a dork must be certifiably crazy or mentally inferior.

Shades of the former USSR. Dissidents were classed as "insane" and thrown into mental hospitals.

Well, at least the feeling is mutual Mr. Edwards. How anyone can view a liberal, gigilo with no principles to stand on as their candidate for the President of the United States is certifiable. The difference is you would not see the leaders of the Republican Party, especially the President or Vice-President utter these types of words. Makes me wonder if Breck has been compromised by Clinton in order to sabotage the campaign?
