Yes you do seem too soft, Edwards. Like a giant stuffed pony with silky shiny hair.

That very fact this "lawyer" said that half of the population is mentally unstable beguiles the fact he is not ready to be the POTUS

Another "ALPHA Male" VP trying to gain relevance and gravitas by making outrageous statements and insulting more than half the voters. What a putz, just like Gore.

What a stupid, childish thing to say. Stack this guy up against Quayle (who HAD accomplishments in the Senate) and look at the way the MSM treated them both.
Example # 10,487 of media bias . . .

Senator Edwards, is voting for a candidate who is pro-tax raises and weak on defense clever?
To: Imaverygooddriver
I don't know so much about that, but voting for a dead-baby channeler, that's definitely sane. NOT!

In addition to the obvious criticisms of Edwards, including he could not win reelection and he was the second choice for VP after a Republican, he said that: "If you live in the United States and vote for...." While its the dream of the Democrats to have mere residency become the standard for voting, rather than valid registration, you would think a senator who also went to law school would know the legal requirement for voting "in the United States of America."

WOODRUFF: "There's been criticism that you have been too soft." EDWARDS: "Do I seem soft to you?"
WOODRUFF: "Well, nothing some Cialis won't fix. Can I get off my knees now? There are other Dem campaigns I need to go service."

Soft, with an overcompensating big mouth full of empty bravado signifying nothing.

Glenn Beck was just ripping this guy a new one this morning. He was 'interviewing' an 'Edwards debate advisor' who was discussing the Edwards campaign rhetoric and what they were contemplating for the debate. Two of many memorable lines:
"We thought about saying 'If you vote for George Bush, you're loco.' Kind of a shout out to our Hispanic voters, if you will."
One of the lines we're contemplating for the debate - "Cheney and Halliburton up in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G". What do you think, pretty effective, huh?
All said in this deep serious voice, of course. And every time Glenn would question the seriousness of Edwards' statements, he would say "He looked great, didn't he?" It was one of the best and funniest pieces I've every heard Glenn Beck do.

Mark my words, the media will declare Edwards the winner in all of their "instapolls" and all the undecideds :cough, cough: Democrats :cough, cough: in the focus groups will say the same thing.
Even Fox News this morning was saying that the majority expect Edwards to win the debate. Sounds like a self fullfilling prophecy.
