The bank's deputy director Mika Ihamuotila was caught last year driving 111 kilometers per hour (69 miles per hour) in a 80-kilometer per hour (50-mile per hour) zone, according to Finnish news agency FNB.

$18,000 for 19 mph over the speed limit? Gotta love that socialism.

As exorbitant as this is, it's far from a record. Last year, one man (a 27 year old heir to the Ericsson phone fortune) was fined over $150,000 for speeding in Finland.
