Not only was Liza Minnelli beating another man while she was married to producer David Gest, she made her husband watch the extramarital assaults, Gest said yesterday.

"I witnessed Mr. [M'hammed] Soumayah being beaten by Ms. Minnelli on many, many occasions," the producer said in a statement.

The Post reported last week that Soumayah, Minnelli's longtime right-hand man, had filed a sealed lawsuit against the "Cabaret" star claiming she'd repeatedly attacked him during booze-fueled rampages.

Gest — who filed a $10 million assault suit against his estranged wife last year — said he feels Soumayah's pain.

"My heart goes out to M'hammed, his wife and two children [to whom Minnelli is a godparent] because I have seen what she is capable of and know how trying a situation like this can be," the allegedly battered bridegroom said.

The statement, issued by Gest's publicity company, said Gest and Sou- mayah weren't the only ones to feel Liza's wrath — the beat went on to at least three others.

It quotes another Minnelli former bodyguard, Imad Handi, as saying Soumayah is "the third bodyguard" the petite purported powerhouse has pummeled.

Yes, Judy G was her mother. In fact, LM's father, Vincent Minelli (Judy's 4th husband?), was known to be bisexual. Another of Judy's husbands, Mark Herron, was also a homo. LM's first husband, Peter Allen, was homosexual (not sure, but I think he died of AIDS). Even she has admitted he was light in the loafers. When LM's impending marriage to Gest was announced, Elton John was asked what might make a nice wedding present for her. He said, "A heteosexual husband." LOL! I don't know what the grandmother's name was, but apparently gaydar malfunction is a family trait.
