Michael Moore said last night in a q&a following a speech at the University of Central Arkansas that he was given the same documents that CBS used in its original TexANG story but that he turned them down for inclusion in Farenheit 9/11 because he and his staff did not think they were authentic.
We talked with four university officials who were present at the event and they all said that Moore said this.
He will be speaking at the University of Florida in Gainesville tonight if someone wants to ask him if it was Bill Burkett who gave them to him.
Also, when was Moore given the documents? The American people need to know.
Moore is full of it. Everthing that comes up, he says he was part of. He interviewed Nick Berg, he had Prison abuse photos and couple of others things he says he knew about before anyone else. Now the fake documents
He wouldn't be able to do anything with it if he did see Morgan naked.
If I were on a grand jury, I certainly would enjoy hearing what he has to say.
CBS doesn't even meet Michael Moore's journalistic standards; no surprise there!
Moore like "dollars FOR dogshit".
Moore said they were "bad " fake documents...did He kept the "well" forged ones for himself? ;)
That sounds like a load of crap to me.
Moore either never saw the documents, saw the documents and planned to use them later himself, or saw them but knew the CBS story was in the works. Saying he was concerned about the validity of anything is laughable.
I may be in need of a tinfoil hat but I think a day could come when Moore faces some serious crimminal charges for his involvement in any number of scandals. Lets not forget that he has a connection to the prison abuse scandal, he coincidentaly met with Nick Berg before Berg went to Iraq, and now he says he was in posession of the forged documents.
Possible... but I think it's more likely that moore is just the bigger LIAR.
This is great! CBS's standards are lower than even Michael Moore's!
That, plus Moore is such a narcissist that wants everyone to believe he was "important" enough to be included on Burkett's phony document mailing list.
If it were true, he would have said something a lot sooner than before it was convenient to do so.
Moore, Cohelo--everyone is trying to say they were offered the documents and knew they were false. Sure, that's the ticket.
I dont know what makes me feel worse: Rather was so dumb as to actually use docs that even Moore thought were suspicious, or, that Moore actually exercised a degree of common sense.
Funny that Moore is telling us this now. Why not three or four weeks ago, when the story first broke? Could it possibly have anything to do with the upcoming DVD release of "Fattyass 911 Lbs."? Hmmmmm... Mabye Moore is a Capitalist after all.
....and a LOVELY Evening Gown!
That is possibly the most disturbing image I've ever seen. Good work!
I'm thinking along those lines, too. He's setting something up.
